Here is the deal. Speckley thinks we need a list of successful projects. I agree. Here is the wiki page!Add yourself IF and only IF your project was successful. Also if there is a successful project you want to be added, but dont know how, reply to this thread, and I will add it for you! Lets make this list bigger than Gexamillion (for those who know my geckos, let them understand)

This could defanitly take off, maybe you should make a link to the project mandatory.

Is this for only our own projects that we personally deem successful? Or is it for any project by anyone that everyone believes is successful? Or some other combination of stipulations?

This is for any project that has met it's goal!
I hope it helps. You can put up someone elses project, as long as it is successful!

I'd say preferably those successful and meaningful from the perspective of the tribe... otherwise it won't be useful in the tribal process.

What if a project never had a goal? A project doesn't necessarily have to have a set goal in order to be successful. I mean, there are a few projects here that are on-going projects. (PogoNews, Letters to Grover...) I think the way to measure whether these ongoing projects are "successful" is if they can sufficiently sustain themselves, so to speak. Edit: Oh, and thank you for making the thread, Jon. Much appreciated. =)

What if a project never had a goal? Make one now, Are you talking about your twitter? I think it is a success, if more than 50 people are subscribed... This is my opinion.

For Letters to Grover (and others) it can say Letters to Grover #1 and the second one could be #2 and it goes on.
What I want to know is: What's this project's goal?

The goal of this project is to document all successful projects on the moon. So we can have a history and look back at our achievements...

That's just not how I roll. ..So, let me rephrase. >.> Can projects without goals be added? (No, I wasn't talking about @spothemoon.)

So this project will never be completed? If at any one point in time all existing successful projects have been documented by this project, this project will be complete. It will return to being incomplete once another successful project begins to exist. This cycle will most likely continue indefinitely.

this project is successful if it continues to do its purpose, as is the case with all projects.
Don't look at success based on completeness, because most projects should never be complete, but entirely ongoingly successful

I think the "what the flip" project counts as successful now that one person besides me has taken part in it I've certainly learned an awful lot from doing it . Things that would make it better: if over 100 people were following it on twitter (instead of 4) If people would discuss each topic in the debate forum If more people would get involved
