Yeah it's only used a couple times in the anime. At first because a potential side-effect if the spell is interrupted mid-cast is thought to be the ending of the world (this turns out to be incorrect, at least in one instance), and later because Lina learns the safer, more controllable spell Ragna Blade.

Too tired to search right now... I can maybe find a pic tomorrow of Rezo's... it looks almost like a dungeon lol. In short, though, an atelier is any sort of building in which a mage does their research or experimentation. In the Slayers series (from which I'm borrowing most of my spells) they were generally built deep underground, so that experimenting with destructive spells would not disrupt (or annihilate) the surrounding populace. Because they're designed with the creation, testing and usage of powerful spells in mind, they tend to also have a lot of magic circles (or possibly are built in the shape of one), artifacts and any other sort of necessary or valuable components to the mage's spell casting.
Regardless of the exact sort of atelier it is, an atelier is always a building, and should therefore be able to profer protection from the hail.

it has only been 2 days sence i posted this round and he has waited till the last minute before. him and nakor are the ones i usualy wait on... every one else usualy gets there post in hours after the round goes up... i do try my hardest to give every one at least 5 days before i mark them inactive.

Sorry, I don't mean to keep anyone waiting. Last round I was a little lost on what I wanted to do. Why don't you just set shorter time frames? As long as you make it clear that each round will only last three days, then it's each person's own fault if they fail to post in that time frame.

after receving numerous personal messages i have decided to start the next round which will be up sometime in the next 3 hours... Just let this be known the blood of your fellow player is on your hands...
Edit: I kind of fell asleep instead but i am working on the round now... just pretend i posted this just now instead of like 8 hours ago and we should all be cool... yeah...
more edit: damn near done with the round i just have to edit it for mistakes and make sure i did every thing right..
hopefully by 6pm eastern it will be done..
i hate haveing to juggle responsibilities
i also keep getting distracted by everyone elses awesome games

Round 26:I go back into the Atelier and upgrade my Training to be a Divine Mage. Summoning is a White Magic, which is what a Divine Mage uses. Since i know some White Magic and I'm in the Atelier it should take less than 5 turns And if you don't know White Magic includes... - Summoning Spells - Healing Spells - Status Changing Spells - Status Negating Spells - Protection Spells And b/c i could i made a pic of my character Nice. I guess your arguement makes some sence. Fine you start your upgrade in training from summoner to divine mage. Status change: Divine mage -3 turns, In cover in the atelier, -112hp wall Ok, i set my rocket launcher to remote fire, hide in the field hopital and press the launch button. Your launcher fires a volley of rockets at the wall. Status change: -168hp wall, In cover in the hospital. Wall-B-Gone. Got it. I send out a carrier pigeon to deliver my patent application to the patent office. You came up with an awesome name for your product and the patent should go through soon. You didn't take cover the hail injures you. Status change: Wall-B-Gone -2 turns, Hail hits you in the head -6 hp while I'm hiding in the chem lab, I'ma talk to shoopdawhoop about extending it so that there's also a biology lab connected to the chem lab by a tunnel, or a bridge, or something. Biology and Chemistry are mutually inclusive to each other, so it'd work out. If he agrees, I'll create blueprints, if he doesn't, I'll sit in a corner and cry. ADDENUM: He agreed. No take-backs! Chris and Steve will look for any other insects that are trying to get to cover in the chem lab, and recruit them. The ants will do their ant-y thing, and dig at the wall from within. The ants tear at the wall and all of a sudden the wall starts to sink several inches. The ants continue to do damage until they are called back or die... Steve and chris find a lazy beetle. you start your bio lab. Status change: -100 hp wall, In cover chem lab, Owns beetle, Starts Bio lab -3 turns. I start healing the person with the lowest HP that's not inactive, Nakor. You run over to nakor and tend to any wounds he may have. Thankfully nakor was hideing in the atelier so yoiu are safe from the hail. Status change: +30 hp nakor, Protected by atelier. Crap, I just noticed the hail thing. REDO: The cast and I go under a bridge to wait out the hailing. The cast all decide to sing to the hail, so the force of sound will push the hail towards the tower, creating an attack. BAM I am not sure what bridge you are talking about but whatever. The attack is amplified by the use of the hail but sadly the accoustics under the bridge are terrible so it is evened out by that. Rules:(New/modified rules are underlined for a round) - Large attacks will require more than 1 turn, and will interrupt on distractions.
- Body modifications (like wings) take 2 turns.
- Speciality trainings might give special bonuses and will take 2 turns to get. (switching speciality takes 5 turns, it's tough to forget.)
- Don't role-play anything but yourself (and your machinery)
- Builds take 5 turns without relevant training, and 3 with such training... any distractions will increase building time with 0.5 turns (this includes, but is not limited to: being attacked, doing anything that isn't building.)
- inactive players shall receive present from the Tower, in the shape of fast-travelling stones hurting your face, they get more painful every turn.(30% chance to hit, max of 4 bricks, max HP/brick = 8*turns inactive), after 5 turns the Tower's hitrate will be 100%.
- Death is permanent, well, unless you decide to re-join, then you start at full HP again.
- Constructs can only be used by it's owner, those with relative training and those with permission of the owner. (people with relative training can be blacklisted by the owner.)
- Unusable constructs will degrade until they are no longer there.
- Please only post one attack per round. If you modify your attack in anyway please edit your first post for the round. ALL posts after your first will be dismissed.
Notes: 1. please check the wall regularly so the rounds can go by a bit faster. 2. I dont want to make any promises cause I do have class and work(possibly even a real life). However I will try to start doing rounds every 3 days or so. You might want to try and check the wall more frequently. 3.pssst:You should really look at the round based stats thing at the least before attacking as to not get caught off guard. It has everything you need to know for the next round. 4. Yes I did double the attacks. 5. The wall seems like it is a bit less fun compared to the other games. I might need to spice things up...
