Yet again Youtube has changed the design of the video format. Like it or not Youtube always changes trying to improve the different conviences you find on videos, such as changing the volume, video quality, fullscreen, or captions. When HD was first incoporated into Youtube there was only one icon to set it. Then they gave you more options for video quality including,360p, 480p, HD 720p, and 1080p. Problem this was a pain(well for me) when I wanted to change the volume of my video because whenever I pass my cursor over the video quality it brang up a list of the different selections of video qualities. This dosen't bother me when I want to change my video quality but when I want to change the volume the list of video qualities is still up there when I put my cursor on the volume. After awhile that gets annoying. . Now the volume icon is on the left of the video which is better but very ackward to get use to. Give me your complete and honest thoughts about. Chat and discuss

i hate the underbar. i miss the sidebar. it made more sense and was way neater. you should be able to choose which one you want.

I'm fine with it. I'm more comfortable with the old one, but it won't be too long before I'm used to this. I prefer the sidebar instead of the bar that you have to point at your pants to refer to when making a video and I thought the recommended videos was much neater in the old version, but I like the comments section.

I like it, though I wish they'd focus on bug fixes first.

I like it a lot, but I wish the underbar was bigger or at least more distinct.

It took me about an hour to get used to it, but I'm really liking the new Youtube layout.

I think it's great, a very streamlined version of what we had before. It took me a while to warm up to it (the amount of time I was on the beta before the official release, actually), but it's turning out to be pretty awesome. Using "Like" and "Dislike" can give you a better idea of how a video is received than the star ratings, and the "underbar" is actually turning out to be easier to read (wide blocks of text are easier to read than tall blocks). The only problems I had with the layout have been fixed by now, so I'm fine with it.

...and now the homepage was changed and it appears that there's no more sub box. >.< WTF? Are you sure that's not just you? I don't think it's a general Youtube thing. Go check that you have "Latest from Subscriptions" ticked under this section: www.youtube.com/account#customize/homepage

Yeah, I like it.. I mean, it's not AMAZING but it's a step ahead what if was before. Easier to use. Neater. 8.5/10, I'd say. (:

Now officially weirded out. It's doing the above weird crap when I'm booted to Vista on my laptop (which I thankfully only need for one or two things anyway), but it works fine when booted to Ubuntu. My WinXP desktop also is totally fine.

My WinXP desktop also is totally fine. I originally had this crappy new homepage appear when I went to Youtube in Firefox, but still had the old homepage when I used Safari. I deleted the cache in Firefox, and it went back to the old homepage as well. I'm dreading when the new homepage becomes permanent. It's completely useless.
