I was going to say something which some people would (for the 2nd time on SPOTM and 2nd time in this topic) consider as an 'attack' on the admins. Seems to me some people on this forum consider constructive criticism an attack. I guess I should stop criticizing and only post to suck up to the people in charge, that would make me a more likable person. @bomb - The suggestions section was created because there was a large amount of suggestions, the same way that there are a large amount of DBU threads which require a section. That is what I am saying in my posts, but of course We are special and any DBU related activity should be considered a liability to our cause - According to courtney/brees words. I have nothing else to say but "I agree" since that is what a lot of people enjoy hearing here. Danielle - Why would I try help someone I hate? I'm obviously trying to help the admins with my insight, I wonder why would you think I hate them. I always thought you were a nicer person, but your sarcasm disgusts me. I agree.

The way you worded it made it sound like an attack. You could have said it in a nicer way. It's true that very few suggestions have been implemented, but frankly, very few suggestions have been good. The admins shouldn't implement suggestions just for the sake of listening to what people have to say. Just because one person likes an idea, that doesn't mean that it's a good idea. And clearly you don't need to suck up to the admins to be likable.. I knew that some of the admins would be against this idea, but that didn't stop me from posting it. And I didn't take back my suggestion just because they didn't agree with me. I nicely explained my ideas and accepted that some people just won't agree with me. And I'm fairly sure that most people don't consider me an unlikable person...

Seems to me some people on this forum consider constructive criticism an attack. I guess I should stop criticizing and only post to suck up to the people in charge, that would make me a more likable person. I don't actually think you were being that constructive. Chelsea, on the other hand, was. I didn't really like her suggestion at first, but she convinced me. You seemed to gradually get angrier and more annoyed, accusing people of being unreasonable and irrational, and frankly, giving off a condescending attitude to everyone who didn't like your idea. Statements like "nothing ever gets done around here" are not only unconstructive, but untrue. You seem to state an awful lot of fallacies, sir. :S The suggestions section was not created because there were a large amount of suggestions. It was created because, well... we wanted suggestions. Besides that, I've already stated that one thread per week on a topic does not earn that topic its own subforum. You seemed to have ignored that and went on your merry way acting like DBU generates 20 threads per day. You also continue to treat this like it is only an organizational issue, when that's not even a big slice of the pie. For the most part, subforums on SPOTM are created to either create a subculture or foster an already existing subculture. In this case, the subculture already exists. But, unfortunately, no one wants to foster that subculture.

I agree. I am now a foolish poster who not only doesn't know how to count, who also lacks constructive criticism. You are welcome, all knowing admin.

Ouch. :S I was going to post her an excerpt from my marketing assignment about suggestions and complaints. But I have decided to retreat to my study to learn how to count and criticize constructively again. Damn my education for wasting their time teaching me advanced calculus and Shakespeare criticism. It is all worthless now. I am after all a worthless poster who doesn't understand the ways of this board going around attacking people.

Okay, we resolved this in the admin call.
We combined Youtube and The Internets, then moved Dan Brown's discussion threads to that section. The thread for his most recent video is stickied (for now).
We'll see how this works.
