It is interesting you guys feel this way. I didn't make it for thus purpose. I am sorry a survey of the SPOTM for who people think their natural leaders are, is seen as fishing for compliments. I never asked for people to vote for me, or for anyone else. I voted for chelsea who never fished for compliments, RabbitWho, and Ferre also never fished for compliments, so I am still looking for the evidence for your statements. And again I am sorry you think it was made to fish for compliments. I'm not sure if that was sarcasm or what... I guess it's okay...? No it is not sarcasm. I didn't make the thread for people to fish for compliments. I made it so the people of the moon can say who they think is a good leader. It was a coincidence that people mentioned me... I am not going to be an admin. But it is good to think that not only admins are seen as leaders. I think we need more than just a few admins to lead the moon. I think Cam could make a good leader too. He is always taking it upon himself to participate and come up with creative projects which are fun! I think people are naming other people to show appreciation. And like I said before, I don't really see evidence of people fishin for compliments... No one asked to be mentioned... People mentioned other people because they wanted to.

Chelsea Definatly and jmejia1187 Agreed! And Yokailo... Thank you so much everyone who mentioned my name, it gave me a really warm fuzzy feeling Especially since you're all on my list of awesome anyway. (I should mention no part of me wants to be an Admin.) No one is pressuring me to, and I know I don't have to. It's not a bad thing at all. I don't deserve to be one, and I don't want to be one. Plain and simple. I think you are made of awesome, but I know I wouldn't have been able for it when I was 14... then again you're already way cooler than most 14 year olds I've ever met so all bets are off!

I feel like an ass... Thank you to everyone who mentioned me. It really does mean a lot. I'm just hesitant to name any names because it seems like the admins are against the idea of letting any of the people mentioned here be admins, so I kind of feel like it would be counter-productive... if that makes any sense. But there are definitely people that I know are great leaders and would make great admins, and I know I've told some of you that already. And if the admins do decide to take nominations into account, I will nominate some people...

Chelsea: You can make suggestions or "nominations", but just keep in mind that it doesn't guarantee that those people will become administrators. We are primarily looking at how people interact with other people, and with the community, as well as the applications themselves. I hope that no one takes offense to this, but we don't necessarily look at what people outside the admin team think about filling the positions available. And I really don't mean to upset anyone by that comment; I apologize in advance if I did. It's just that we will be choosing people who we think we will be able to work with (comfortably) for a long period of time. Also, to use RabbitWho as an example, not everyone "nominated" here may want to apply. (And I can totally understand RabbitWho's reasoning, having expressed similar concerns after I had been made an administrator, when drama over the admin position arose.) This is just my personal opinion, but I think that it is just as important to have leaders outside of the admin position. It's true that a lot of people look at you differently once you are an administrator. Some people may be opposed to those "official" leaders, and may only listen to the people who they consider leaders within the community.

RabbitWho, I sort of feel the same way as you. Many people want me to apply for the position of admin, but I feel like I am making great progress from where I am now. With the pogonews and the completion of the Munny Challenge. It is all awesome!
I wouldn't want to ruin the place I am in now.
I think I am a leader, whether I am an admin or not. I agree with Speckley, we should have more nonadmin leaders! People who are not afraid to grab the SPOTM and take it out for a walk!

I have never seen anyone be able to judge a leader, without seeing the person lead. New stuff here on the internet.

Actually, many people have been leaders. Chelsea personally is a leader of mine because she made thepogotribe channel. This ability to bring people together is something I look for in a leader. Triadtoks, Munny Challenge, Pogonews are all on that channel. Without her initially making this channel, such projects would not have been successful.
This makes her a personal leader of mine.

Lots of people on here are way younger than you'd expect. But they are way more awesome than you'd expect. I think the beauty of this forum is that you just don't know how old people are and have to judge them upon what you can see of them: the quality of their participation in the Tribe. That's why I don't think age should matter when applying for an Admin-position.. Of course, if school gets in the way, that might be a reason to not apply.. But again, I don't think age matters on here. ^^

The admins aren't our leaders. We lead ourselves. Which is awesome! So my answer the the question is: Everyone!
