Deaf. I'm a graphic designer. I can't make a living with just my ears.

I've talked about this with a friend before, and we both came to the conclusion that we would miss the sounds a heck of a lot more than the sights, yet it would just be easier to survive and live a relatively normal life if we were deaf, rather than blind. So I choose deaf, despite the fact that I would miss the sounds much more than I would the sights.

So I choose deaf, despite the fact that I would miss the sounds much more than I would the sights. You see, personally, I'd miss the sights more than the sounds. What my friends look like, movies, television, beautiful landscapes, the internet. With loosing my hearing I would miss music, radio and the sound of people's voices. Obviously, very important things but not as important as the total things I'd miss from sight.

I would be blind because I love music too much and I would hate not being able to communicate with other people. The thought of not hearing other peoples voices gives me chills.

Eh, I know it's just an opinion but I would far miss the faces than the voices of my family and friends. If you've ever listened to a Psychologist they'll tell you how communication is very much more than just them talking - it's their body language and all.

Gawsh, I'm never really sure which one to pick when someone asks this...I guess I'd have to keep my eyesight. I would just miss art so much. Would suck to lose music forever though.

I listen more than I see. My career depends on my ears being healthy and functional. Blindness for me!

The human race is dependant on light, which is why we freak out in the dark, when we lose our major sense, our body starts to freak out.

I would choose blind because my mother is a special education teacher for blind kids. ^.^

I love music and sound, but I think I would enjoy life more if I could see all the natural beauty around me. Most of my bucket list relates to seeing things and being places. If I was deaf it would be a shame but I would probably be more okay with it. Especially now that I have had the chance to hear some things, which I would presumably be able to recall in future.
