Well, then.
I'm sure that pervs can't just make him do insanely sick things.
I guess it'll be fun.
But I'm not sure for world changing, I kind of picture our nation's government laughing at what Dan thinks they should do.

This could become huge. At first glance, it might be like "Wait... that's it?" But no, if we the viewers are able to control everything he does, he (and I guess we, actually) can make big changes in the world, so long as everyone gets their head on straight, realizes the project's potential, and wants and tries to make the most out of it rather than treating it like a fun game.
One question though, and maybe I missed this (in fact I think Dan did say it): Where's the voting going to take place? On this forum? On his YouTube channel?

For one year, Dan Brown is letting us, the viewers, control every single aspect of his life. so can we use him for good or evil? All he said was that he's going to put his life in our hands.

I was expecting a lot more. But for what it is it's pretty cool. I mean we can tell him to do ANYTHING. We can tell him to buy a small town in Africa and let US run it. We can tell him to create a computer company. We can tell him to build a website for people who want to work on awesome projects together. Or we can tell him to do something as simple as walk his dog. The possibilities are endless.

Wow... just wow... ironically, nobody guessed the secret project in the threads, that I can remember.
Does anybody has an excerpt of Dan's stream?

My first thought was that 4chan was proably going to do something along the lines of when they made sure Justin Bieber is going to North Korea...

I'm glad I guessed correctly because that made finding it out so much better and it made the project seem gigantic. No disappointment here!

Wow. Dan, you disappointed me. A lot. -.- Gesh: he said that he had collaborated with Revision 3 (as we suspected), and that they are making a system for voting. My guess would be that they would put it on its own website.

So I'm like... really really proud of Dan. He was... awww. Just looking at him, he was so proud of himself, like the little boy saying "Mommy I did it!"
I really do think this has a lot of potential, like you^ say. Just really hope people (not necessarily 4chan but you know... trolls) don't mess it up
and another thing. People here who are disappointed or skeptical. Looking at the twitter feed, the at replies to Dan. Most of these people aren't here on the moon, and they have not been following this project at all. But I can assure you, from what I've seen, most of these people are REALLY excited about this. Like, they are really amping about it, are really positive about it. They aren't 'disappointed' in Dan because they didn't have much expectations from him before, or they weren't guessing/discussing it with us before. but they all seem to be REALLY excited about it. Just something to point out.

My guess would be that they would put it on its own website. We could either be idiots and make him do stupid things, or we could make this really really phenomenal. We could make him start charities, go pick up litter, etc. Think of the possibilities.

I am so surprised that he is actually doing that,
As far as the scope is concerned I'm not too surprised, I figured it would take place mainly on youtube, but I thought it would involve more of an emphasis on community videos. I think this project has a lot of potential and I'm excited for August 2nd.

It might be interesting to follow along and do some of the things he'll do as well, depending on what they are.
