Alright. Some more ideas. 1. Make 1000 origami swans. Not time restricted though. 2. Learn a language. 3. Break a world record. 4. Read the Twilight series. IT'S DIFFICULT! I like that 4th, not so original but definitely entertaining to hear about... Maybe add a note he must review it in detail after each book.

Maybe Dan should learn an instrument. Guitar, drums, piccolo... anything.

6 hours actually, unless youre german, dutch, or according to some others 5 hours and a minute...plus a multitude of other minor dietary laws...wikipedia is not the bes source for jewish law...i'm better ive been studying it for longer than wikipedia has existed I'm German, so I wait three. Personally, I find Wikipedia to be a pretty good source for most things, including Jewish law.

I actually really like that idea, but I think the idea of a stray might be far fetched in a society in wich strays are taken and often killed. I would say to to the pound and save an animal on the day it was meant to be put down, raise the animal to be healthy and then do something to give back to the community with it. Actually, you would be surprised at how many no-kill shelters and emergency adoptees are out there already doing that. The cat I mentioned ended up getting bitten at one point and needed an abscess drained. It wasn't our cat, persay, and we couldn't afford it. But one shelter we brought him to gave us a really roundabout loophole. They said THEY would have to put him down because of their policies, but because he was feral, if we brought him to THIS vet, they would bring him to THIS shelter, which was affiliated with THIS association and on and on. In the end, he was treated, brought fully back to health, was picked up by PetSmart, and adopted within a month. People always think shelters are death traps, but if the animal is healthy and friendly, you wouldn't believe the lengths these people go to for them. As it is, Dan already has two dogs if I'm not mistaken. Bringing a new animal directly into his home would probably upset them. Also, not all shelter-strays need nursing back to health. Most just need homes. Adopting one would be useless if he were to then return it. The only case in which a temporary adoption could work would be newborn kitten/puppy raising. Even no-kill shelters are forced to put down parent-less unweaned newborns (there are just too many and not enough hands to feed them). If someone were to come into a shelter with an unweaned litter, it would only take about two weeks for them to start on to solid food. Dan could volunteer to handle them for those few weeks til they're adoptable.

Crying in public! Could be good. Could make new friends. Only good people talk to people who are crying.

I really liked the idea of Dan learning a new skill. Kind of like on Sims where you make your sim, lets say learn to play the guitar, your sim can then use that skill to earn money to help buy a new house or buy new furniture that will benefit them in different aspects of their day to day life. Now I know that Dan can already play a guitar, but about cello or just a skill in general.
DAILY GOAL: Vegetarianism anyone?

I remember when I stoped eating red meat (I cheat with chicken every now and again) It was sorta a body shock for a day or two, that would be two days of bad dan, and besides, that's a decision he should make for himself.

Daily Idea: Dan should should talk to [Insert youtube partner here] about [Insert topic here]
Explanation: None needed
Weekly Dan should have a live BlogTV movie screening party with a moive based on the Daily vlogs of that week
Explanation: For example if his last 4 vlogs were; Talking to Johnny Paula (Ideo Prod.), Talking about time travel, talking about the 80's, and talking about cars the movie of chocie would be Back to the future and it would be shown live on his BlogTV/Ustream account with his commentary.
Monthly Dan should organize a charity concert with a local band

I would suggest travelling to a different location. Somewhere far-flung and where Dan has not been before. This also throws up rules and guidelines to vote for too. My idea would be: 1. You must only spend a certain amount of money. This should be moderated by the creation of a new credit card with this money loaded on it. 2. You cannot simply fly or take the train to the voted location/ state. You must either walk, bike, swim or take limited public transport such as coaches and buses. 3. You would be required to take a single bag. Voters will decide what goes in it and what cannot go in it. This would most likely be a monthly target and one that would progressively evolve. Sorta like a mini Dan 3.0 event. Of course you would have to take your laptop and possibly your phone to update the vlog. Afterall there seems to be free public wifi pretty much everywhere and anywhere these days. I have a feeling this would throw up some really interesting experiences and situations that you would be able to record, edit and upload for our enjoyment! Edit: Voters could also decide on a daily challenge that Dan should complete in order to obtain a reward.

For the skill, the idea is good, but I still think it should be something he could continue with. We don't want him going out, buying a cello (where the strings alone cost somewhere around $40 each), learn it for the monthly goal, and then never touch it again... I do like the vegetarianism idea though, even if only one day, OR as Hank Green once suggested, one day every week. One day a week of cutting out meat is not very difficult, and, being a teen guy, it could actually happen by accident (cold pizza breakfast, microwaved pizza lunch, hot delivered pizza dinner, and the cycle continues [lawlz]). Of course, we'd make sure Dan did it right.

Do something that benefit others. Like.. Well, I don't know, maybe (1.)take Dannerzz to the next years Nordic Light (http://nle.no/en/home/), it's a photography festival in Kristiansund, in Norway, or (2.) help old people to discover social media, (3.) form a collaberation online to make a feature film by sharing knowledge and donations (somewhat like Joseph Gordon-Levitt @hitrecord and hitrecord.com or Vincent Laforet with his "Story Behind the Still" on vimeo) and submit it to film festivals and release it online as well. Probably got more original ideas, somewhere locked up in my mind.

HEY WORLD! I have some ideas that I beleive would be interesting. My first idea is for Dan to participate in another cultures traditions and celibrations. Another idea I had was for Dan to possibly raise money for a charity ( maybe a charity he starts himself ) by holding an event of somesort like an art show or a face painting booth or whatever we come up with My third idea is for Dan to trade his life with someone for a day! (Danielle possibly?) what i mean by this is to do the things that person normaly does in everyday life like if he traded with danielle they could each film a video and dan would put his on danielles channel doing what danielle does and danielle doing the oposite and my fourth and final idea is for dan to face one of his biggest fears. ex. If he was afraid of spiders he could buy a pet spider or if he was afraid of walking out into the street in his underpants then he sould walk out into the street in just his underpants! ;D

I really like the sound of having Dan stay in a super store[Target/WalMart] for 24 hours like Hank Green was supposed to do, but he didn't have a 24 hour store.
It's not something that would be world changing, but I think it would make for a funny video. Watching him go crazy would make me laugh. :]

This is pretty cliché, but I think during Christmas you should go to a homeless shelter and/or children's hospital to give out presents and help out. Though, it doesn't have to be during Christmas, I just thought you dressing up as Santa would be awesome.

I think that Dan should try to learn the flags of every country in one day and have someone test him at the end of the day. I think it would be so much fun to watch and would also encourage viewers to do the same. Anyone else think that would be a cool idea?

Monthly goal for Dan: Organize a Pogotribe meet-up. Im not going to lie, I like this idea. But I dont think this is Dan's job. Maybe we could organize themed meetings of pogotribe members in different locations (since well.. we all don't live right next door). I dont think it'd be too tough to do. We could easily organize these meetings within this site. Itd give pogotribe members another venue for creativity and community. Any takers?

For the month of December he could ask for stuffed animals or matchbox cars or barbies or fluffy blankets from viewers. :] I love this.
