I have been using this myself as a userscript. I'm stupid. Hadn't read that.

Blue, you realize you just bumped a half year old thread back there? THAT'S BREAKING THE RULES MAN!
I suggest a slight alteration (To make the staff still easy to recognize) and only color your own nick (so, you'd be able to recognize your own posts very easily). I found it helpful since i got red. *cough*

Blue, you realize you just bumped a half year old thread back there? THAT'S BREAKING THE RULES MAN! I'm an admin! I DON'T NEED TO CARE WITH THE RULES!!! (actually, I did it because the idea is feasible and hasn't been implemented nonetheless) I suggest a slight alteration (To make the staff still easy to recognize) and only color your own nick (so, you'd be able to recognize your own posts very easily). I found it helpful since i got red. *cough* That's exactly the idea By typing colorName(pb_username); That user's name will become colored when he is logged in. But now I'm waiting for sensible and good ideas for the default color of the person's name!!!

Ok, I got tired of waiting, and defined a color. From now on, when you log in, you, and only you, will see your own name, and only yours, with a golden tone.
If you guys settle for another color, decide so, and then tell me. If you do so, and the decision is sort of unanimous, I'll change the color.

ahh thats why. i thought for a second that maybe i was a mod and no one told me or something..
this is actualy a pretty cool feature. well as long as no mods ever use the color for there own name.

I don't want to see a golden tone. I want to see the orange I chose for myself. ;_;

Use a userscript with this line, and just replace the 000000 with the color you want.
colorName(pb_username, '000000');

I don't want to see a golden tone. I want to see the orange I chose for myself. ;_; As you can see in the source, changing the color back for the admins (individually) is very simple. So now you'll see your orange while all other admins will see yellow.

If you're using Chrome:
Create a new file called SPOTM.user.js and paste the code Blue used up there. Drag it to the Chrome icon. Click install. Profit.
