It's not about whether or not the no-shows failed, it's about whether or not the rest of the triad deserves to be labeled as a failure as a result of the third person's lack of following through
Ah, I see. Well, I think the fact is certain that the triad failed. The blame for the failure need not apply to the 2 that tried their best to make it work, though. If the other 2 exhausted all options within reason, then they themselves certainly are not failures. But the triad still failed.
Sorry if I took this in another direction, but, hey, it's better that all the thoughts are out there.
Yeah that's pretty much what I meant. The active members havn't failed.
When you say that someone volunteers and that's trying, that is true. But then you can say that the people who didn't get picked have failed too. I spose you can say that they tried to try to make their triad work.
In a way though, they havn't really tried to make a triad, because they're not the ones makign the triad. Dan/1st Gen are the ones doing that. Technically you can say in that respect they failed.
What I think I'm getting at here, is the word 'fail' is being thrown around too much, and being used too generally. I guess maybe thats what you meant by semantics! I just think it's being misused and I don't think it's fair on the people it's being used towards.

Ok, I'm going to be terse about this: I agree, but I don't know if we can do anything about it. The 7 original triads can't just do anything they want, and it seems like changing the triads falls under the "things we're not allowed to do" category. I 100% agree what everything you said, but that really doesn't matter. We are held up to some standards that we must uphold, whether we agree with them or not. Please don't take our not replacing inactive members personally. Let's just wait until the pogotok comes out, and see if anything changes from that.Oh no, you've got me all wrong! I understand that there's a system and it should be followed the way it was supposed to and there's not much you can do about it. That's the whole point of the Triad process really, organisation. I've no beef with you. I just dont want to be called a failure if I havn't done anything, that's all. You get a cookie too *cookie*
