So, any direction telling us if the thumbnails that we've made have the correct format and if its what you guys are looking for? Just to know if I should continue making some...

I think we're looking for images that have solid backgrounds to make transparent, so I'd stick to solid backgrounds for the time being as it is easier to change from a solid background to an image background if necessary.
To solve the problem with the rice image (having white foreground on a white background), fill the background with a colour that is definitely not in the foreground. For example, for a red foreground image that has some white elements, give it a blue background. As long as the background colour definitely does not appear in the foreground there will be no problems.

Hey. Guys. The SPOTM Awards awards are given to those who won them in the last SPOTM awards... that's it. SPOTM Awards are their own special categories. When they come around again next year, more awards will be added with 2011.

only problem i see it the rice is white in a white bowl on a white background.. put on a white forum page. i have no say in the Free rice group, i'm just offering a background that bowl on my background would make it show better but not my project so i can't say. yea, i think you are right. So, what do you think about this one instead? yeah no problem here, ( i really don't have a say in the matter, i'm not one of the peopel running the project) The "Best Avatar" award's description is: "This member's avatar is so awesome that you could never forget it." An award with a description like that can obviously be given to more than one person. Hey. Guys. The SPOTM Awards awards are given to those who won them in the last SPOTM awards... that's it. SPOTM Awards are their own special categories. When they come around again next year, more awards will be added with 2011. Yes the awards we gave last time should get thier own. To be clear i'm not against having them.. just limiting. I don't want the page to time out cause we have 38 versions of "best player of <game 1>","best player of <game 2>","best player of <game 3>","best player of <game 4>","best player of <game 5>","best player of <game 6>","best player of <game 7>","best player of <game 8>","best player of <game 9>","best player of <game a>"...

Just to know if I should continue making some... to answer your question yeah, if you look how it's been implemented (the small icon that you can roll over to see the full 300x300 pic) solid pictures without captions seem to be the most preferred. Also transparency Can be put on as long as the 300x300 displays size is accurate (probably a code restriction). But yes can we get an official update on progress? or at least a "go ahead" with what we've been doing?

We're going through this thread every week. I think that the rice image still needs work, which Rob or I will probably do if it still needs doing at the time of the next admin meeting.
