what I mean is that people should always be up to date on whatever is happening in the world. That being said, I don't like to do it because the information is usually shared with a specific point of view instead of just for the sake of sharing the information.

Saying that all news is biased does not justify Fox News's misleading information.

ok. first of all, citation. second of all, are we talking about fox NEWS or the opinion shows? googled and found this video. I guess this is the sort of stuff they mean: Besides that though, I know of at least one of my professors who teaches media and communications and agrees with the fact that Fox news is quite biased.

assuming its a private school...constitutional first amendment rights dont really apply...and i dont think anyone is denying bias...but again...show me an unbiased news source. it kind of balances out. people who want to hear a liberal bias go to CNN...peopel who want to hear a conservative bias go to Fox News

funny you would say that about "balancing it out":

To answer teh question at the end: ...That's the entire point of TDS and Colbert.. and the other question...
No, Chris Wallace wasn't saying that. But he came really really close to saying it. He was saying that if NBC is more liberal, they're more conservative. Which I don't agree with completely, but it's not what he was saying.
I also agree with Stewart that Chris Wallace is probably the smartest, most reasonable guy on FOX News. He's there to "balance out" the crazy.
Also, people with liberal bias don't go to CNN, they go to MSNBC, Asher. CNN's kinda liberal. But nowhere near as full blown.
I go to teh netz for my news. The TV media's bullcrap. Even the TV media's website is better than the crap they spew out 24/7..
I'm a liberal, yes, but I like to keep an open mind. MSNBC, with the exception of a few hosts, is pretty biased. And the hosts, besides Maddow, are REALLY unlikeable. I can't stand watching them..
CNN's desperate for ratings, so they spew out cute cats farting for a few hours a day, and of course, the all important, completely intelligent, Twitter.
I feel about the same with FOX and MSNBC, but I feel a more extreme feeling about FOX.
And don't get me started on f***ing local news.
Go internet.
