Huzzah! I think if this is the sentence that gets voted number 1 we can include a tiny url link to the site.

Whoever said "the sky is the limit" gave up way too soon. These are the two I like the best so far. Learning and applying that knowledge is a lot like being a superhero. It's hard work, but it makes you awesome. I'd vote for the others, but there is mine.

It's hard work, but it makes you awesome. I'd vote for the others, but there is mine. I was talking to RabbitWho on another thread about how I think humour can help something go viral. That's why I'd be more inclined to vote for Whoever said "the sky is the limit" gave up way too soon. and Learning and applying that knowledge is a lot like being a superhero. It's hard work, but it makes you awesome. I'd maybe lose the "that" though. Learning and applying knowledge is a lot like being a superhero. It's hard work, but it makes you awesome. flows better

Whoever said "the sky is the limit" gave up way too soon. That sounds really good. But how are we going to spread it? Do you think we should have a Skype call sometime?

Hi there RabbitWho and Co!
Just wondering if this is still meant to be an experiment or not? The original idea was that it would test to see how quickly stuff can spread through the internet if we use a variety of methods so we can better understand the internet for use in the future. It'd be great if we could still apply that idea, especially as RabbitWho seems very passionate about decreasing worldsuck. Understanding the internet better will help others and ourselves decrease worldsuck in countless ways if we know exactly how to get our information out there in the quickest and most efficient ways.
(Also just wondering if any of you are familiar with the YouTube channels Jumbafund and Uncultured Project, both of which do a lot towards decreasing worldsuck and make great videos. Just by watching the videos you donate to charity, thought it might be your cup of tea RabbitWho if you haven't already heard of them!)
I personally prefer the word idea to the sentence idea. If we know anything about the internet already it's that short, to the point stuff travels quickest. Look at viral videos, they're short, right in there to the funny stuff. And whilst I can agree that comedy isn't the only way to get stuff through the internet. It certainly can't detract from it's progress.
I was wondering what you all might think about using a word that already exists... Dan Brown often uses the phrase PDBAZ (Please Don't Be A Zombie) it basically means don't just ignorantly take in whatever you're told to without thinking. It agrees with all the values of our tribe as well as portraying the message RabbitWho has at the core of his concept: getting people to think i.e. decreasing ignorance.
I know the word is already out there so you may not think it counts but look at it this way: currently the use of a search engine for "PDBAZ" gives the results: GOOGLE: 338 ASK: 49 BING: 82 YAHOO: 345 Plus it's short, catchy and Dan brown is already spreading it out there which gives us help and a good step forward in our study.
I know a lot of you are opposed to the pogotribe being in such close conjunction with Dan Brown and some ask for complete independence from him. If so inclined we could try a comparative experiment whereby we try to spread a fact/sentence whilst also trying to spread the PDBAZ. In about 5 weeks we re-search PDBAZ and the fact/sentence and see which has the highest average difference between then and now. We can even count the number of weeks we are in the lead from Dan's first PDBAZ video and give the fact/sentence project a proportionate amount of extra time to balance out the results.
Thoughts?

Cool, let's do that as well. I think we should still go ahead with the sentence idea because it's starting from scratch.
PDBAZ isn't as catchy as DFTBA but lets see if we can match it at 146 000 anyway.

The tribe has suggested the following ideas: Learning and applying knowledge is a lot like being a superhero. It's hard work, but it makes you awesome. What you do over the course of any one day has the potential to dramatically increase your quality of life. Male brains are actually larger than female brains. But that's made up for by an increase in efficiency in the female brain. for every litre of air you breathe, 2.181 children die from poverty; do the right thing: breathe less air Truly free minds are not constricted and can achieve anything Learning and applying knowledge is a lot like being a superhero. It's hard work, but it makes you awesome. Whoever said "the sky is the limit" gave up way too soon. You left out "Somebody loves everybody loves somebody" and listed "Learning and applying knowledge is a lot like being a superhero. It's hard work, but it makes you awesome." twice.

Make stickers with it on them and put them random places.. and then take pictures of them and put them up online? Or just write them random places.
