Wow! A lot of multi-talented musicians here! I'm just the drums. Can you whistle? That's an instrument nobody uses anymore (For some reason) Haha! I can't even whistle! ;D

I've been tempted to start a whistle orchestra recently. I love the sound of whistling, but it's so over-looked.

A whistling orchestra would be hard to organize, lol. Intonation is wicked hard with whistling, and people tend to whistle in different keys xD
Would be an interesting thing to hear though!

Would be an interesting thing to hear though! Lol, I should have clarified. A one-man whistling orchestra. With video editing. It would rawck.

I play the trumpet, euphonium (mini-tuba, basically), the piano, and I've dabbled in the sax and clarinet

I take it your voice is not an instrument? Who said that? Of course it's an instrument. Nobody here sings, apparently.

I'm starting chorus next year, so I can't consider myself a vocalist just yet. However, upon being asked if they play an instrument, many of my friends say, "Yes, the vocal chords"

A question to the people that play many different instruments: Which one is the best out of them?

A question to the people that play many different instruments: Which one is the best out of them? There is no "Best instrument". I agree that there are some bullshit instruments (Kazoo, beat generator for rappers, etc), but no genuine instrument is better than another. A better question to ask would be, "What is your favorite role in a musical group?" In that case, mine is playing a supporting role in the rhythm section. So, I picked bass as my main instrument

I would take the question as "which one are you most proficient at?" But then, I only play one, and I'm not proficient at it.

I've played the piano nearly my whole life, and I've done some work on the xylophone (and related instruments) in school since the 6th grade, I'd love to have a set of my own but they're incredibly expensive. And I noodle at the guitar a bit, but I really don't play it much or well...

I'm offended that flute is not on this poll. Just saying. I give flautists sooo much credit. Especially those with good posture. I tried playing flute once. I sploded.
