None spoke of Danielles departure as an admin, none reminded people of Dans Live show, or of his new video converting to pastafarianism.Should a feed really focus that much on Dan/his videos? Or any personal matters of an admin or otherwise?
absolutely right!
But I do wish there was more project focus, because a lot of people don't even know what projects are going on and a lot of the projects really need people to participate if they're going to succeed.
But do people prefer more or less updates, generally?
In general the people I follow are so interesting and the things they're tweeting are so important that I understand they need to tweet as much as possible and i'm just glad when I catch those tweets. Every now and then i'll go back to their page and read everything they've written in the previous few days.
It's usually better they tweet often, someone like Stephen Fry or CERN get drowned out by guardian science and Alain de Botton, but i can always go back to their pages and read what they are saying.
What i can't abide is following anyone who has full conversations though @. I get that some people use twitter as chat, and that's cool, but I won't follow them.
But as you said I don't follow the SPOTM twitter because they tweet things I already know about, and I'm really only interested in projects and the general welfare and happiness of everyone here. I don't venture outside of the projects forum that much, i find you get to know people and their characters really well on the project forums, I adore so many people I've met here. I think people are at their very best when they're working towards something they feel is bigger than themselves.
