I could not find a good place to put this thread.
Dan makes pogobat videos and trying to make them at least three times a week. He makes DBU videos (though the daily vlog looks to have sputtered out). Pogotoks once a week. Live show. Skype admin calls. Vlogvetica calls (as I'm sure he still talks to them). Secret Project work. SPOTM time. Danielle time. Research for videos as well as church and family.
I'm worried that he is stretching himself too thin. Administration can be a bitch. I was relieved to hear that Dan was going to be spending more time here as it is true, we do need him around more for a little bit longer. However between that, other obligations, now the weekly pogotoks and everything else, I'm concerned it might be a bit much for him. He is 19 almost 20 and I hope he is not being weighed down by too much by all the responsibility.
I have no point to this, just wanted to make my concern known is all. So remember if you plan on asking something from him not to be too disappointed at being politely turned down if you are. It sounds like the guy needs a secretary.

He has a manager, if I recall correctly. I'm sure Dan can take care of himself. You are a very nice man though, grandpa.

Pffffffft, Dan is fine. Having a lot of responsibilities that you enjoy isn't a bad thing. He combines his leisure time with his business time ( oh baby ). And like Cortney said, he has people helping him out. Friends, family, manager, tech guy, accountant, admins, etc. Old people worry too much.

Well, he's probably working on Youtube as much as most people would work on their job. And seeing as this is his job - it's all good. And of course he goes the extra mile, but he enjoys it all so I'm sure he does fine!
He's probably often very busy - but I'm sure it's the type of busy he loves!

Keep in mind, this is his full time day job. If he was juggling another job and any obligations beyond that, yeah, I would agree. But anybody who works for a living does just as much work as Dan does over the course of an 8-hour day. In fact, I'd be willing to bet money that Dan has far more leisure time on his hands than the average 'employed' work horse.
...Although I'm sure things will change a little once he moves out of Mom and Dad's house and has to support himself. (He's mentioned a few times that he makes more than enough money to support himself. When you live at home with the parents, the term 'supporting yourself' is kind of a joke)

He makes more than enough to support himself OUT of his mother's home. He pays for his internet and cell and pays rent currently. He's moving out in May anyway.

NOOO! Like, out of Lincoln! That's the one thing that makes this city cool is that we have a YouTube celebrity. Now that's gone I'm stuck in this stupid city with nothing t be proud of. p.s. I am joking. I am really upset that I won't get to live 5 minutes away from him, though I've never personally met him IRL. I want to someday, but I guess not here.

My combined internet and cell are like $30 a month, rent from parents is always cheaper, (no security deposits) and I highly doubt he's covering the utilities, home insurance, groceries, and stuff like that. All those things add up. I'm not saying he can't do it, I'm just saying we'll probably see a Dan Brown who's way less cocky about his money after 6 months of ACTUALLY supporting himself. (Sorry, I hate to sound harsh, but from time to time I can't help but pick up on that subtle arrogance that he tends to have momentarily.) Don't get me wrong, I wish him all the best and it's awesome he even can make a living doing what he loves, he totally deserves to.

I should probably clarify few things so I don't sound like a TOTAL jackass! When I say arrogance - I'm referring to the fact that he feels he NEEDS to tell us all how well he's doing financially - Which he's done a couple times. It's just in poor taste to talk about that kind of stuff, and far outside the lines of social etiquette. Also - It sounds like I'm attacking him, but the truth is I quite like Dan. If I didn't give two SHIRTS about him, I wouldn't care. But having a few years real life experience on him, I've learned that NOT cultivating multiple options for life down the road ALWAYS comes back to bite you in the ass sooner or later. I'm just worried that he naturally assumes that YouTube will always be his bread and butter of making a living, and I would hate to see anything bad happen to him if the whole YT thing ever goes south for whatever reason, because prosperity doesn't sustain itself. ...Or maybe it's just the Dad in me coming out.

Dan's going to hire people to cut out the wall and install it in his new home.
Not really. He's going to take everything down and put it back up in his new room.

No, it's fine. A lot of people express concern with Dan's stability. BELIEVE ME, he's more than fine. The only reason he stayed home up to this point was because he felt like he should since he's only 19. He makes more than most college graduates with homes and children that I know. People don't really comprehend HOW MUCH he actually makes. He saves most and has a lot of it invested. He hates talking about it. He just tells people he's doing well.
