So, there will be a podcast version when I can watch you, right? 'Cause I cannot sit up to 4 am, just to watch you.

That was one of the most awkward situations I've ever witnessed, honestly. So... I'm going to suggest how I think this would work best, but it may not be what you guys meant for this project to be, in which case you can completely ignore me. But, based on the name (PogoTribe + Podcast), I'm guessing this was meant to be a podcast of sorts? So why does it have to be live? Why does it have to have a video feed? Why don't you all get in a Skype room together and talk about the Tribe? That could potentially be very interesting. You could still have guests, and still invite people on at certain times to join you and talk about their specific project. And all of this could be smoothly recorded, and then posted somewhere online where anyone can listen to it anytime. It'd more or less just be a focused version of the skype calls you guys do every day. That's what I know a podcast to be anyway. Or, if you do insist on it being live, Andre offered a very legitimate solution to the lag issue during the test earlier today (and I commented that I thought it made a lot of sense). The hosts (and guests) use Skype to communicate with each other so at least there's no awkward lag between you guys. The viewers don't matter so much. You can all mute each other on stickam, and have Skype open. But the viewers would listen to you through stickam. Does that make sense? If it doesn't, just consult Andre.

I kept getting disconnected Besides that, the 3 minutes i did manage to watch was ok. I think Bree is right though, it would be better, recorded with skype and then posted or using skype between you guys. but hey, It can only get better from here ;D

I had fun.. even though bombmaniac now hates me I like that it's live, and think we just need to get around the lag issue. As to how we do that, I don't know.. I'm not good with that kind of thing. Also, I think to reduce awkward levels, people should offer to go on cam, instead of being chosen at random, when they don't even have their cam hooked up and they're in the middle of doing AP Calc homework... just sayin'...

yes weve taken all this into account, and we will most [robably be switching over to a blogTV/skype solution like most mainstream livecasters. the audio to the liveshow with all the lag cut out will be available soon on the podcasts page

I only dropped in for a few minutes, but it was awkward with the lag. But that's okay... it was only our first time. It's never really perfect the first time.

Okay, so we broadcast on BlogTV, but the hosts and guests speak on skype. This is cool and I like this idea, but who will the webcam feed be based on? You can only have 2 people on webcam at max... so how do we decide who gets the main and co-host feed?
That's the only issue we face. Hopefully the lag won't affect viewer interaction.

the basic idea is that the host will be...the host...and the guest will be cohost...callers will go through skype. well work out the specifics later.

So, 1) when you say that the podcast will be available on iTunes, do you mean like you can search in the iTunes store and find it, or that you have to go to the podcast site and click the link. Because the latter alernative is not really in iTunes, it's just iTunes working as a normal RSS reader (for podcasts). 2) how long time will it take from it airs live and until the podcast episode will be available? I would hope this could be as soon as possible.
