I HAVE SO MUCH TIME ON MY HANDS. I JUST WANT TO RUB MY HANDS ON EVERYTHING TO GET IT OFF. HELP ME. I need a game to play! I have these gaming systems (Bold = preferred):- Nintendo Wii
- Nintendo DS
- Personal Computer
I like these types of games: - Role Playing (RPG)
- Real-time Strategy (RTS)
- Turn-based Strategy (TBS)
- Turn-based Tactic (TBT)
- Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO)
- Life Simulation
Other things next to bullets: - You don't have to limit yourself to suggesting the types of games I "like"; you could surprise me with an awesome new genre.
- Money isn't a huge issue.
- It should be addicting
- It shouldn't be so addicting that I want to play it all day, every day (so, like, not WoW)
- Make sure it's AWESOME. I don't want no freakin' mediocre games, k.
GOGOGO :D Because you guys are just so predictable: inb4 "That's what she said."
inb4 "I just lost the game."

I should suggest games. For some reason, I loved My Sims: Kingdom. It was actually... addicting =P

Anyways. ZOMG!! We need to share friend codes, do you have Mario Kart Wii? Yeah, I have Mark Kart Wii, but I rarely play it unless I have friends over. I beat it ages ago, and I never played online anyway. *shrugs* Helmet: Hmm, World of Goo... I think my brother told me I'd like that a game a while back. Maybe I'll check it out. :P

I already have that. >_> I got bored of it a while ago. I'll probably play it a little throughout the summer, but not as my main game.

World of Goo is a fun game although kind of short. I only play it on my laptop when I'm bored in class.
Fallout 3 is awesome although i'm not sure you'll like it, and if you have lots of time you can play civ4.

I have this feeling you wouldn't like Warcraft 3, although it's a great RTS with a bit of RPG gameplay and it has literally millions of players playing it online so you never run out of competition. It also has a great editing tool so you can make your own maps or play other people's maps online. Some maps are really fun and incredibly different from the game itself.

@fallout 3: That game isn't reeeaally my style. It looks pretty cool, but I don't usually enjoy games with guns as much as something else. I actually considered buying it a couples months back, though, so who knows. Good suggestion. @warcraft 3: heh, Blizzard. I guess this one is a possibility, but I feel like I'd want to try it out before buying. There's probably a trial, so I'll look into that. @age of Empires 2: I've never played. BUT, I have played AoE 3! XD I actually bought it instead of Fallout 3 a couple months back. Good game, but I've played better. I'm pretty bored of it now. I actually have a game in mind, but I don't know the name of it. >_< I was hoping someone would suggest it. It's an RPG for the Wii, I think... it may be post-apocalyptic? I'm not sure, really. I do know it has a prequel, though. It's not a game you would expect to be on a Wii, but... I saw a video about it on YouTube quite a while ago, and thought it looked awesome. I was either too busy to be playing a game or found out something about it that turned me off. So if anyone has any guesses as to what game I'm talking about, please tell. XD EDIT: Oh! I think I know where I heard about it. chuggaaconroy mentioned it in his Let's Play for Wind Waker. I just remember he was fighting redeads at the time. XD AH, gotta find that video.

You should try out RPG Maker VX. It's software that lets you design your own RPG game very easily. It's really fun, and there's no programming knowledge needed. It's not a game, exactly, but it's loads of fun.

Yes and no. Yes, if you use the RTP graphics, and if you have a terrible plot, and no external scripts. No, if you use your own graphics, a good plot, and many external scripts, especially for the Battle System. The RMVX Battle System is BS. RMVX doesn't make anything. The user makes it, so it depends upon the user. I've played games made with VX that I'd be willing to pay for. I've also played games that make me want to be payed for enduring the horrible game. It could really go either way.

I actually have a game in mind, ... If anyone cares, I actually found out what this game was. xD No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. The fact that it's $30 instead of $50 is a little off-putting. I checked out the Wikipedia article and a few gameplay videos, and it looks pretty awesome. But extremely violent. If I do end up buying this game, I definitely won't play when my parents are home. XD Guess I'm still looking for suggestions, though. >_< EDIT: Hmm, I've heard a lot about Starcraft II. Does anyone with a beta code recommend that?

I second Fallout 3. One of my all time favorites. To add on to this, I also suggest getting Chrono Trigger. It is an excellent RPG for the DS that was once on the PSO (and NES I think?), so you might have played it before. I don't play it often only because I hardly ever pick up my DS, but I've been playing Final Fantasy 13 lately and it sparked my interest again.
