I was thinking, Dan talked about the Noble Cause, saying that it was the collective goal of the Pogotribe.
That got me thinking if there is/should be a goal for just one's self to elevate them a level or two.
My goal now is to stop caring about Dan Brown posting. When I see Zang post, I don't freak out, and I should't if Dan posts. He has said that that he is ruler, but that doesn't mean that I should always freak out if Dan posts. I'm really looking forward to the day when everyone stops thinking Dan Brown as a celeb, but as another person on the moon.
So what's your Pogotribe Goal?

My goal when joining SPOTM was to meet new people with interesting and unique views on things that are different than my own. Still going about that, but I've picked up a few new goals since coming here, 1) get in a triad and make it work 2) figure out how to contribute to discussion in a constructive way 3) learn more about the site, and get more comfortable with the people here
once I can do all of that, I'll feel like any other pogotribe member, right now I still have that alien feeling that comes from being a noob.. so I guess the overall goal is to lose that feeling eh?

Can't say I have any. It's an online virtual community. That's it. Maybe I'm not reading between the lines enough.

I like these kinda things. And that's a good moral, helmet. (Sorry! bad, bad name memory)
Alrighty. Being a website drifter, it's obvious to me how new websites turn out and how they end up in five years. Pogotribe is many steps ahead, and what's more, it's run by people not much older than I. The website welcomes so so so much imagination and the maturity to use it properly. If anything, I hope to stick with it, know the people, participate, and go wherever it goes. Dan Brown is somewhat a mentor and an educator. He has a brain which he uses creatively and knows exactly "where" and "how" to use it =D Why not express on youtube, then expand on a website? I respect that, and I'ma take advantage of it.

I guess my goal is to work towards ending world suck. I know it's too vague to be the tribe's noble cause, but I'm determined to do it myself. And I am really serious about this, and I've gotten started working towards my goal. :3
@joey, you have it all wrong.. You shouldn't think that you should help the tribe by being an admin, then a mod, then the best member you can be. It should be the other way around.. Be the best member you can be, regardless of your position in the tribe, if you truly want to help out the tribe.

My goal is to have a lot of posts so when we become famous I can tell people that I was an active member. Same here. Jk, jk, but that would be nice. My goal is to not quit this community. I have never stayed on a community for more than six months. I want to stay here for at least a year.

That dream of being famous for being active since the beginning unfortunately doesn't happen =\ but it's more of a feel watching those who are new in five years that bringing back memories. Fame is boring, no proper conversations (if you'll let me be biased >.<)

Is it bad that my goal is just to have some constructive fun?

Be the best member you can be, regardless of your position in the tribe, if you truly want to help out the tribe. I should have said it differently. I meant that I wanted to help as much as I can, and being those things would allow me to help more, but I am still going to try my best no matter what I do.

My goal is to strengthen us as a tribe, I think. Nothing, not even "ending world suck", can be achieved unless we make sure to deal with the tasks at hand, which, at the moment, is not to come up with ways we can change the world, but to grow out and grow strong. The end goal should be kept in mind though, but it's way too early to speculate more concretely about for example the "Noble Cause".

My goal is to actually create a successful project, although I seem to be really bad at that.

My goal is probably to get a global network of people I know I can trust, and creating a network of intelligent people with all different specialities who can help me with things I might do in the future- to make sure I don't have to study English and French and archeology and psychology and philosophy and all that myself, but that I have a sort of living database. I realize that sounds like it's very egocentric, but at the same time I want to be a part of such a 'database' and network myself for everyone else in the Tribe. I think that's what it's all about.
