Actually, when I saw this thread, I thought about this: The kind of puppetry that takes skill.

Frank Oz designed that one. He also designed Yoda and did the puppetry for Mrs. Piggy or Fozzie Bear. My school almost did Little Shop or Horrors for the school play. I'm really pissed off that we didn't. The puppets would have cost too much.
EDIT: That's about Speckley's post.

I started off as a stage manager, but was soon drawn into the puppetry of the show. I played the first Audrey II puppet ("Grow for Me"), and was part of the team for the last puppet. It was loads of fun! For the first puppet, I was crammed under a desk for the first 10 minutes of the show... I had to hold the puppet up one way, while looking at the wall to see Seymour's shadow (so I could puppeteer believably). One of my teachers thought that the first puppet I puppeteered was animatronic, so I guess I did a good job. Frank Oz was also the voice of Animal on the Muppet Show. =)

When I saw this thread I thought of two things and neither of them was the right one (i wanted to some how demonstrate puberty without nudity) (I wanted to somehow demonstrate puppytry without nudity)
