The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. I saw it in theater with my friend when it came out. We both ROFL'd, quite literally. My favorite move evar is not the SBSP movie, though. I'd have to say it's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I don't really know why, it just spoke to me.

I'm not sure how a movie about a creepy old man baby could speak to someone... My favorite is definitely Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

There are too many great movies to pick a "best movie ever."
But I'd have to say I really really enjoy In Bruges, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Fight Club (!!!), anything Pixar makes, etc. etc.
There are more movies on my list of favorite movies, but I figured I'd just stop it there.

Well "The Ringer" is One of the most hilarious movies ever, and it has a good message too.
"Waterboy" on the other hand is just laugh out loud funny.
Don't get me started on "The Hangover"

My favorite is definitely Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Monty Python Rock`s Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy , The Onion Movie , The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was terrible. They got the feel of the characters entirely wrong, they changed the plot, they changed the MOOD of the film. So Long And Thanks For All The Fish was a catchy tune though...

It looks like you're judging the movie as a novel. That's where you go wrong. Movies and novels are ENTIRELY different things. Novels are primarily about internal conflict, whereas movies are about external conflict. When movie adaptions of novels are being made, it is very likely changes need to be made in order to create a decent script. For example, Jurassic Park the novel vs. Jurassic Park the movie. In the novel, the main character didn't dislike children, whereas in the movie, he did. He grew to like children by striving for his goal. Also, there is no love interest in the novel, whereas in the movie, there was. The changes where made for a reason, and it lead for an ultimately better movie. Guys, when you're watching a movie that's based on a novel, judge the movie as a movie...and not a novel.
