I think I could make a serious project out of this. Hmmm...

My existence is superfluous? That's so mean...

I thought it was a compliment.
superfluous- adj. in excess of what is required or sufficient.
So... your existence is more than required, 110 percent. I dunno. Big words and I are not friends.

To be honest, I had absolutely no clue what it meant, I just knew that you said it.
BACK ON TOPIC: I think value cards would be really cool. I love advertising that's really surprising and out of place. It catches my attention.

I have a question! If we were to make these cards, how would we distribute them to people of The Moon? Would they have to buy them from somewhere...? That'd be lame! I'm not sure many people would be willing to give out their addresses so they can have a few sent to them, free or not... This can't really be done now, but in the future, when/if we sell merchandise (t-shirts and such), we could just put a few of these cards with their order. I wouldn't mind the moon selling stuff AFTER we have perhaps a specific goal to put the money towards. Actually that would be kinda cool. Maybe we could sell downloads of video projects, collaborated music etc. all for a certain cause (of course that would mean finding a way to pick one...) As for now, free is probably the way to go. If this card making thing is free then why dont we just make the final design down-loadable via pdf or something and let users print them out? Then it wouldn't mean the tribe dealing with money or people's addresses.

I like the idea of printing them out, just for now. From what I understand, there's gonna be a huge influx of people coming in after VidCon. Sooo... more people will be on the Moon, which means more people will be buying things. Moon merchandise, so to speak. At that point, we might as well just put cards in for every purchase.
And I'm all for putting a value card in every book that I return to the library.

I suggest that we make a REALLY basic moon store BEFORE Vidcon, so when we get a huge influx, we'll probably get a number of dollars/euros/pesos/rupees semi-quickly.
Maybe we can start up MoonMerch (Like Pogo store, but BETTER)?
EDIT: ZOMG THAT WAS MY 500TH POST!!! OLOLOLOLOLOLOL HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Meh, haven't several people tried to get a store going? I have no idea what happened with any of them. The printing thing is a good solution, I suppose. The cards would be pretty unprofessional, though... :/ I'd personally prefer them being actual business-type cards. I realize the printing solution would only be temporary... but meh. It's just not as cool, and I get the feeling the "cards" would just end up in the trash (poor trees ).

The reason I wanted (and still want) to have them printed professionally as opposed to make them available for people to print, is because the cards that are printed professionally are usually more durable.
Also... rounded corners, anyone?

South Pole of the Moon Trading Card Game? A little late on that Linus, sorry! The creative card idea would be super duper AWESOME, but right now I don't think we have the funds for that sort of thing.

South Pole of the Moon Trading Card Game? If someone wants to create a separate project for that (maybe in Creative Corner?), I have absolutely no qualms with it. =) As for the creative cards? Cool idea, but I think it's good just to keep this simple right now.

I say something as simple and awesome as a 2 x 3 in. card with one side stating our 9 values + site URL, and on the other side, the moon with the AWESOME face on it. EDIT: The moon: I'm horrible at this kinda SHIRT. ^
