This is just a thought I had. You guys might want to set a time limit for how long you hang onto applications and then make that public just for the sake of organization and keeping up to date info. Just like a retail store might say "No positions open now but we will hold your resume for six months," you might want to say "We'll hold your application for X months; if you haven't been offered an admin position in this time feel free to make a new application."

That way you always have more up-to-date applications, you're not hanging onto ancient ones that may not even apply any more, and perhaps just as importantly, everyone else will know for sure whether or not their prior application is still hanging around or not (meaning they won't be worried about whether it's already discarded or not, and you won't field as many questions).

It just makes it all a smidgen more organized and convenient for everyone, admins and applicants alike.

hmm.. but you guys wont like, disregard people if they dont keep their applications up to date right? i mean, as long as you know someones interested youll keep them in mind? i just figure cause of the whole picking someone you all get along with rather than picking someone who can yoyo and pick their nose at the same time thing.

This Tribe is still pretty new, so I definitely don't blame anyone for the occasional rough spots. We're constantly growing and still figuring things out, we're bound to find some mountains (or at least some molehills) along the way. It'll just take some time and a little tribal teamwork to get us over them.

Nope, Erin and Sarah were noobies when they were picked. In fact, everyone was a noob. Technically, the first batch had only been here a few weeks. And the stars only go up with post count. High post count =/= adminship
