If you're looking for vampires vs werewolves then watch underworld. If you're looking for a beautiful love story read Romeo and Juliet. If you want a good series of movies watch Star Wars (lol Star Wars EPIC hehe)
To me the Twilight series is nothing special. A god awfully written book with a trivial plot line and just another useless fanbase. Nothing special, never will be. Just a crappy love book that made girls think they'd be different if they enjoyed. I know guys that like it and I'm not judging but the movie series (maybe not the books) are definatly aimed at young impressionable and insecure teenage girls, therefore it was destined to be successful just like everything else that says love and is aimed in the same way.
Sigh indeed.

When I first read the Twilight books, it was when the hype was just starting to build up, and I actually liked the books. Then again, I forgot most of the details after I read them, and I got some of the books mixed up with the movies. I realized this when all the fangirls started to obsess over it (by the way the movies were terrible in my opinion. Except I haven't watched the third one so I can't say anything about it.) Then I decided to watch "Alex Reads Twilight" so I wouldn't have to read the books again to remember the details. It helped me remember how terribly written the books actually were and I wondered how I even liked the book in the first place. It makes me wish that the videos were around when I first started to read them so I wouldn't have spent so much time reading them.
