Okay, so this is inspired by WheezyWaiter's video ( linkylink). We get together TONS upon TONS of ideas. From the random, to the useful, to create some sort of publication that is updated monthly with inspiring ideas. Oh, we'd need a different name too, cause I'm thinking We'd want a website, and ideasunlimited.com is taken. I was thinking maybe make it through Tumblr, but I wanna see what other mediums it could be done through. I wouldn't mind taking charge of it, since it is so simple. Anyone? Ideas on how to do this?

I think it would be easier to do it on tumblr or another blogging site rather than just having a website of it's own because 1.) it's easier and 2.) the URL ideasunlimited.tumblr.com isn't taken yet (at least as far as I know).
But that's just my 2 cents on the subject. Also, if you're looking for stupid ideas, I probably have tons lying around.

Tumblr does look good, and I might buy a .info domain to put it under. (My website (http://evilplot.info) is under tumblr, so I know my way around. ) I'm gonna leave this open, to see if there are anymore ideas.

I actually love this idea, it seems really cool. I think Tumblr is a good idea (I love tumblr)/ mean. A harder idea would be to make a site like omgfacts (http://www.omg-facts.com/) GMH (http://www.givesmehope.com/) or MLIA (http://mylifeisaverage.com/). Just a suggestion, but Tumblr is much easier.

I am in for this project. Tumblr seems good, and if you can get a .info then, twice as nice. What we could do is have a Donations button to fund a .com domain.

Excellent! Tumblr it is then, with the submit button turned on. I'll add a paypal button when we start the site.
I think the submit isn't going to be quite enough to fill up the queue on tumblr, so we'll need a way of collecting tons and tons of these ideas.
Now, any suggestions on names?

so we'll need a way of collecting tons and tons of these ideas. First, awesome project, I'm in. Second, I would create a gmail account for people to send in ideas (IdeasUnlimited@gmail.com). Third, it would be great if we had an "I need an idea section", where someone could ask for an idea. For example, someone could ask, "I need an idea for my science fair project", and people would submit their ideas.

I was talking more, a thread that people can write in ideas on the moon, to get us started. I am pretty sure an email wouldn't be needed cause of Tumblr's submit ( linkylink) feature. I like the "request an idea" thing. Still working on a name.... :/

I didn't say it officially, but I'd like to help.
Ideas Unlimited reminds me too much of Ducks Unlimited, so it has to goo.

Okay, that's good, We have some names now! Thanks for sending them in... I'm not creative in the name department. I added a poll that will be open for 24 hours ( linkylink), You can vote for two names, and the winner will be the project name? Cool beans? Uhm, anyone else have ideas of what needs to be done? I know a team of posters will need to be assembled, maybe a team of 6. Because I like even numbers.

We should publish it in a book, and put "DON'T PANIC" in big friendly letters on the cover. Wait a sec...

A book would be cool, but I think something like a Tumblr or any other kind of webpage is better because it is easy to update, and can be updated every week/month/whenever you want to.

I was kidding about those horrible names, but okay. Well, they were some good suggestions. A book would be cool, but I think something like a Tumblr or any other kind of webpage is better because it is easy to update, and can be updated every week/month/whenever you want to. Yeah, a book would be awesome. Perhaps that can be an even greater goal. (Say, a year or two from now.)
Okay, so when the name poll finishes, ("Impossibly Big Ideas" looks like it will be the winner...) Choosing the frequency would be next, I think. Now, Tumblr's queue feature lets you post at the least, one post per day. That would be automatic, and the team would just have to fill up the queue every so often. Or, we can run a draft method. All posts are saved as drafts, then eventually, a team member would go in and publish. I'm rooting for a post every, say, 6 hours? That would quickly give a nice back log of ideas, and be great for those who video blog very often. I'll still put up a poll later tonight. We'll also need to assemble the team. I'm not sure how to do that. Applications through another thread? THE RESULTS ARE IN!At 7 votes, Impossibly Big Ideas, wins! I already have done some tinkering with the tumblr site already. impossiblybigideas.tumblr.comNext, is the applications. I'll start the application thread on the main project forum, and we'll see where it goes from here! APPLY NOW! PLEASE feel free to write more suggestions~!
