I think this should be in the "Anything and Everything" thread but since you asked I'd say that the British stereotype would probably revolve around words like "proper" or "polite" though objectively speaking it really alludes to adjectives like "pompous." That and the usual asumptions like...tea drinkers (lol your avatar)...socer/football...the Queen...castles/old-cool-buildings... I mean this objectively and in no way want you to think that I feel this way. So, yeah...

I love the English, so I tend not to gather or create negative stereotypes, but usually a lot are true. Tea, obviously, is true, but I know a couple of Americans (including myself) that drink English tea on a regular basis.
The old "Color" vs "Colour" thing always bugs me, as I'd rather spell it the proper way (Colour). I don't see how you can call that Americanized spelling correct, when the English spelling obviously came first, and we just changed it for "simplicity".
I'd rather be a tea-drinking, queen-loving, cricket-playing, colour-spelling Brit any day than be an American. It's in my blood xD

God save the queen.. God save our gracious Queen, Long live our noble Queen, God save the Queen: Send her victorious, Happy and glorious, Long to reign over us: God save the Queen. The queen is useless, and the roly family's been German for many many year now. She dose nothing for the country apart help with the stereotypes.

Hey, Click. Here's a list of basic guidelines. They are here to help create an ideal environment on the moon, and to let the members know what is expected of them concerning behavior and forum etiquette. - It's okay (and expected) to disagree with other members, but please discuss their ideas rather than attacking them as a person. Also, discussion does not mean insulting - keep it civil.
- Keep to the original topic of a thread, unless the discussion has changed naturally and is still productive.
- If a staff member asks you to stop doing something, please follow their advice. If you have a problem with what the staff member said, you should discuss it with them privately.
- Try to type with proper spelling and grammar, but if you see another member with an error in their post, don't feel the need to correct them: ideas are more important than period placement.
[/b] [/li][li]Before you post a new thread, try your best to determine that no thread containing the same content already exists elsewhere. [/li][/ul] [/quote] Please stop. Thank you.
