CALLING ALL CREATIVE PEOPLES!

I want to see Dan get art-y.

Stopmotion, paintings, cool videos with no meaning, animations, anything that's un-vlog like for a week.

I definitely like the idea of him trying out new things. That's a very broad idea, obviously.
But I agree, I think he should try some art-related things.
I love stopmotion stuff, that would be cool to see.

I have an idea of a Gathering type thing that would be pretty Artsy

It's kind've like a mural where all of us get to gether, build a brick wall somewhere, and paint.
Everyone in the pogo tribe could gathter with Dan and we'd just paint. It won't matter what, or if you are a good artist, we'd just make a mural. It'd be like a monument to the pogotribe that we all built together.

Dan could coordinate the dates and wheres and hows and that could be a long term goal for Dan 3.0

Dan always said he wanted to try painting or graphic design. I say get him proper materials[Photoshop, Illustrator, canvas, gouache, etc] and this could be fun.

Wouldn't it be even cooler if, instead of having a weekly goal of general "artsy" stuff, we suggest "artsy" things as daily goals. Like, "do a stop motion video today".

Everybody seems to like stop motion, so should we have that as our first goal? How should we phrase it?

Awesome! Would that be a "technical change" to the project? It can't be a monthly, weekly, or daily goal if it's gonna last all year. Which website is best for doing that kind of "take-a-picture-every-day? We could get him to use it.

Hey guys, I like what's going on here, a little ideas:

With the "Make a creative stop motion video." I think we should change it to, "Make a creative (and awesome) stop motion video."

I LURVE the face time lapse idea, and I think that we should start small and make it a monthly goal, and if/when it gets recognized, we up the ante and make a technical change saying that Dan ends with a picture of him that day, and on the last day, he shows the collective of all the pictures throughout Dan 3.0.

Another idea that popped into my head was that at the end of the month, Dan takes ONE WORD from every one of his videos that he made that month, and make his own poem/strange sentence. It would also let him use his ever-so-loved jump cuts.

I love the ideas! But, if the face time lapse is a monthly goal, would that mean that it would be the only monthly goal for that month? I'm just saying that it would be a shame to have such an "easy" task for a whole month. But, sure! And we should definitely do the poem idea.

So, currently, do we have two "ready" suggestions?

Make a creative and awesome stop motion video.
For immediate submission (or a time we see fit).

And...

Use one word from each of the previous month's videos and assemble them to make a creative and awesome poem.
For submission at the end of the first month..
