We now have a Wiki page! ^_^ It's just a start, so maybe someone with more wiki skills could edit it into something a bit more informative. AWESOME!!!!! I'll get into it editing it when I have some time.

I'd like everybody interested in the coalition to post the time zone where they're at and favorite hours to be online, as I'm planning an IRC meeting online. Nothing serious, just something simple to get us all to know each other better and to plan paths and ideas. I'm choosing IRC as it is the lowest common denominator (using mibbit anyone can visit it)... and because I don't have Skype... but that doesn't matter... The meeting can last as long as you want, and preparations for the meeting should be made in here. Theoretically, the meeting will probably occur in a separate room from #themoon, so as not to get (or cause) much noise. If you have any comments feel free to say so and remember to post your time zone and favorite hour and day. In preference, the time zone should be displayed as the offset to the GMT, to make things easier on me ( if you could also convert the hours to GMT, I'd be happy). I'm on GMT+1 (due to daylight saving time, on winter it is GMT) and I'm the most comfortable with the time from 4pm to 10pm and on weekdays. Converted to GMT, my best time is around 3 to 9pm... I think, if I'm wrong, please correct me. EDIT: After all I'm on GMT + 1, and not on GMT -1 I usually can deal quite well with time zones, but I always mess up with daylight saving time.

I'm gonna be away for the next two weeks. I may have Internet the first week of august, though. Anyways, I'm GMT -3. I'm good at around 7:00 - 9:00pm GMT Tuesday - Friday. My schedule is really wacky though, so I may not be able to attend.

GMT here, may I recommend we do early evening for GMTers, so it'll be the evening for mainland europe and the afternoon/late morning for america?

My schedule is really wacky though, so I may not be able to attend. Does anybody else mind if we wait for plainwhitepaper and do it around the 1st or 2nd week of August? Of course we should still be planning all details of the meeting and the project. But as we have more than 365 days and 6 hours, I think we can afford some more time for planning, and that way we can include plainwhitepaper on the project meetings. One thing I forgot to mention is that, although I'm the most comfortable with week days for the meeting, I can attend it if it is on a weekend, if it makes it easier for anyone. I thought I already said I support this... Opps. Let me say it now: I SUPPORT THIS You might want to attend the meeting then, post your time zone (in preference as an offset to GMT), the hour range it is best for you to have the meeting and, if you can do it and don't mind, that time range translated to GMT time zone.

Is anybody else interested in the live meeting? If so, post your time zone and available time (even if it coincides with other member's time zone) so we can see which is the majority of available people at which times.
If you are only available at specific days of the week, say so too.

I love this idea! I think the integration of philosophy would help to make Dan 3.0 a world-changing, Tribe-ish thing rather than a "Dan will do crazy stuff if enough people tell him to" thing.
Anyway, my timezone is GMT -8, and I'm usually on from 7:30 P.M. to 12:00 PM Tuesdays-Sundays. (:

I think we should not propose these ideas in Dan 3.0 engine right now, the ideas are still rough and not ready for proposal. Furthermore, it would be beneficial for everybody to see first how the entire system works. Don't you think. After we clear our heads, and do the live meeting, then we can decide how to propose the ideas.

After careful deliberation, the life meetings got scheduled to Wednesdays from 8pm to 9pm (on Western European Time - GMT 0/+1). If you are free at that time, go to #SPoTMFil in irc.rizon.net trough IRC. Instructions on using IRC to are in here. If you've never used IRC and don't know how to use it, visit the room trough here. You are free to access the chat at any other time too, to talk about other philosophy related topics. It is always hard to set new meetings for people with extremely different time zones, so your best times to be online might not be included. If you have a better hours to provide the chat in which most people are avaialble, a more complete table with info on several time zones and users availability is available in here. Conversion for different time zones:(The first offset is in winter time, the second during daylight savings. Each of the users who subscribed during that time are marked with a letter and corresponding color, with legends below)Alaska Time Zone (GMT -9/-8) | Pacific Time Zone (GMT -8/-7) | Mountain Time Zone (GMT -7/-6) | Central Time Zone (GMT -6/-5) | Eastern Time Zone (GMT -5/-4) | Atlantic Time Zone (GMT -4/-3) | Western European Time (GMT 0/+1) | Central European Time (GMT +1/+2) | Eastern European Time (GMT +2/+3) | Moscow Time (GMT +3/+4) | 11am | 12pm | 1pm | 2pm | 3pm | 4pm w | 8pm m b | 9pm F | 10pm | 11pm |

I'd just like to inform the live meeting is today, in 8 hours and 15 minutes as of the creation of this comment. You just need to go to #SPoTMFil in irc.rizon.net . You can access it trough Mibbit in here. Oh, and btw, there is a new signature on the "Support Us!" section. Try it out, you wont be disappointed.

I'd like to inform that, as the time scheduled for the meeting was set for 20 minutes ago. The people present in the room will start now. You can join anytime, and you can still catch the remaining 40 minutes. Read the instructions above on how to join.

The meeting is over now. Although the attendance was low (3 people in total) the decisions are as follows: - It was decided that the first tasks should be proposed to the decision engine around the middle of August or later, to let the hype "chill down" a little and to help us giain a little advantage.
- A new section on the wiki page was opened for idea brainstorming. In this section, any philosophy related idea should be proposed and modified until it is ready for being submitted. Anyone can edit it.
- Phat also raised the question of comparing Dan before and after learning philosophy. We have reached conclusion that we have good "before" data in his older videos, and that, after he learns philosophy, we can make him talk about a topic he already talked about, just for curiosity.
Next Wednesday, at the same hour, another meeting will be made. Until then, the channel will be used as general purpose philosophy discussion.
