We all love em'. Those pointless facts that you know or have looked up, that is so unbelievable but no one knows it. Well... This is you thread to post it. Post your most interesting facts, whether looking them up or just out of the top of your head. Fact: The loudest animal is not a blue whale, but a shrimp. A Tiger Pistol Shrimp to be exact. This might have been on a Dan Brown video, but i don't remember, it's just what I thought of. Your turn

There are some species of jellyfish (or I think it was just one) that are theorically immortal because of an special ability they have that allows them to reverse their life cycle. There are also some species that are edible.

Pop rocks have a high pressure bubble of carbon dioxide inside the candy so when the candy layer melts it pops.

Even though most people would say that the tongue is the strongest muscle (which you might have heard), It is actually the muscle that controls your jaw. Your bite can produce more Newtons on average than any other muscle.

This is my Specialty, here's a few
1) The Same PSI you use to bite through an apple can be used to bite through your tongue, your brain inhibits you from doing this
2) Soybeans are the ONLY vegetation that can provide a complete protein for your body, It gives you all nine (of 22) proteins that your body cannot make
3) The Item on the Taco Bell menu with the most Kilo-calories, Kilo-calorie is the correct name for Calorie, is the Taco Salad oddly Enough
4) The 2nd most fatty fruit is the Avacado, 1st is the olive, but despite this Avacado is very good for you
5) "Noob" was among candidates for the one-millionth English word selection by the Global Language Monitor. It lost to Web 2.0
6) You will spend 2 weeks of your life waiting for the traffic light to change
7) You will eat 8 spiders while you sleep in your whole life
8) Bengies Drive-In Movie Theater; Middle River, MD; has the largest movie screen in the country, measuring 52 feet high and 120 feet wide. 6,240sqft. BTW if your ever in Baltimore County I recommended going to Bengies, it's only $8 for three movies and the atmosphere is awesome.
9) The Baltimore Ravens are the 8th most valuable football franchise in the country named by Forbes Magazine, The Steelers are 17th, YOU HEAR THAT PITTSBURGH WERE BETTER THAN YOU as in our net-worth is better =D. BTW Dallas Cowboys are 1st. BTW the 2nd The Steelers are a good team... i apologize (But I don't apologize for your horrible rude fans)

This might have been on a Dan Brown video, but i don't remember, it's just what I thought of. Was in Youtubillionaire 1 or 2.. 1. George Washington had three foxhounds whose names were Drunkard, Tipsy, and Tippler. 2. Houdini trained his dog to escape from mini-handcuffs. 3. I gotta feelin'. That the black eyed peas are actually beans.. 4. French fries aren't french. They're Belgian. 5. Attila the Hun died of a nosebleed on the night of his wedding. 6. William Wrigley gave gum to whoever bought his baking soda. He abandoned baking soda after discovering no one bought it for baking, but for the free gum. 7. FERRETS can sleep twenty hours a day. 8. 500 years before domesticated house cats, FERRETS were very popular as house pets. More to come!

Trivia the 2nd 1) In early drafts of the Back to the Future script, the time machine was built out of an old refrigerator. 2) The first Star Wars movie (A New Hope) was originally given a movie rating of G. That was, until they added the burning corpses of Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru. The rating was quickly changed to PG. 3) There are 293 ways to make change for a U.S. dollar. 4) Giving a “thumbs up” also represents the American Sign Language symbol for the number “10.” 5) Dogs who bark continuously can get laryngitis, just like humans, but it takes longer. Canine vocal cords are thicker and take longer to get irritated. 6) Cashews are always sold without their shells because the shell contains an oil that can cause a rash similar to poison ivy. 7) Wrigley’s gum was the first product with a bar code to be scanned at a supermarket. 8) Twinkies originally had banana-flavored filling, but switched to vanilla when World War II brought the banana trade to a halt. 9) Batman was Based off the 1926 movie "The Bat" which was a horror movie about a serial killed who wore a Bat Costume. How a serial killer became a knight of justice, idk that.

Heat doesn't rise, but heat can give air and water buoyant tendencies.
Also, the 8 spiders thing isn't true.

The way to outline text into compound vectors in Adobe illustrator is to select the text and press Ctrl/Apple+shift+o. Don't forget to ungroup after!

Liquid water is denser than ice (Fix'd). This is also why ice floats on water.
