I'd really rather not show the results. Though I'm pretty sure the results would be shown without thought if I wasn't included in that decision (none of the other admins really care). If the losers see how much they lost, it could cause hurt feelings. If the winners see how much they won, it could cause inflated egos. It could just cause all around unnecessary drama. No one needs to see the results. Plus, the official numbers are a bit skewed, because there was cheating (and yes... we know who you are >.>). Disappointing, I know. I'll say this: 1) It wasn't that close and 2) Everyone received at least 15 votes

Or you could PM the 7 nominees and ask them if they want to see them. If they get hurt feelings, it is their fault for saying they wanted to see them.

Maybe something like; a top 7 without the results or just a pm to the nominees saying how many votes they had (no others.. [okay, yeah.. votes can still be leaked by themselves etc..]) This will (and might already) be causing lots of drama but yeah.. I guess it's a bit the same with us (nominees), that it feels kinda strange not knowing how it went beside the top 3.. :/ mah 2 cents.

No, it's not their fault.
They don't know how badly they lost. They could be expecting themselves to do better.
Or something.
Honestly, you don't need to see them.
And I'd really, really, really, really rather not. Really.

Are high school elections ever revealed in a public manner? I don't think so. I know in my high school, all they revealed was the winner and that was it. They didn't want to upset people, or start/further gossip around the school with stuff like, "Person A deserved way more votes than Person C!! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS." "I knew I should have voted for Person E instead of Person B." "Person D shouldn't have gotten that many votes. They're ugly and they suck." To me, revealing the votes turns it even more into a popularity contest than it already was. :/

I'm saying only reveal to the nominees. Don't reveal it to the rest.

I don't see what the difference is. Showing it to just the nominees changes nothing in what I've said.
You know the results will be spread around.

PS. Will these results be used for any other thing like when one mods wants to stop/get's 'fired', will the next one on the list become mod.. or is a SPOTMod and all the things around it still a bit of an experiment?

Why can't you just trust us? Punish anyone who makes fun of anyone else.

People cheated. That's why I can't trust you. I've told people on this forum things I shouldn't have in the past, and they went and blabbered to the world. That's why I can't trust you. You're making this a bigger deal than it needs to be, Alex. =( An attempt at preventing drama is turning into drama. Sometimes you guys are impossible. *dies* Ferrrrrre: I don't think so. Another election would probably be held instead. And the election would be conducted a lot differently...

Voting- The poll will be closed so that no one (save Forum Staff) may see the results. (We don't want this to be a popularity contest.) Also, I'd like to direct you to this quote ^. If you wanted to see the results, you really shouldn't have agreed to this process. Or should have spoken up for a change in that. *shrug*

I just want to see how close things were. I did not cheat, and if I see the results, I promise not to tell a soul.
If word gets out, you can ban me or do whatever you need to do.

I'd like to know. I'm kinda ocd about knowing results of things. It's like not getting the results of a test and someone just going "well you did really well." Ok it's not quite as bad but yknow.
But I think if all the people involved want to know the results then they have the right. As you say, Bree, not telling us is just gonna end up causing more drama than telling us would anyway.
I'd like to know what Sean, Zang and Ron think too.

Awesome I voted for the three that got in. Actually scrap that: it was 2/3 I think.
