I like what you guys are getting at with the priority system for those whose triad does not stick together. Refilling may not be the best approach as we do not want to place someone in a triad where they might be left out. But I don't think we should discourage triads from seeking help with their projects from other tribe members who are interested in helping! As for an evaluation or grading system, I do think this might cause feelings to be hurt. I think constructive advice on a one-on-one basis should be encoraged so each member can develop, but as long as people are upholding our core values, there's no need for individual evaluation. Also, I agree with CrrackTheSkye, don't be afraid to start a project on your own if you haven't been placed in a triad yet!

I think all the triads that 'failed' did so because of the bad timing, something else came in the way, or computers crashed. Stuff like that, for the exact week we had to succeed. I don't think there's a real necessity for refilling, as with the new generations of triads, there won't be this time pressure. Everyone who signs up for a triad is willing to get into something big, but might not be available 24/7 365 days a year. I think you can trust the triads to eventually get back to them, or split up and try to get into a new triad. If this works out right, there will be new triads formed all the time, so they just have to re-enter and they get a new one.
..If that makes sense.

I believe the grading process to be a necessary component of motivation to complete projects. Deadlines are a wonderful thing.

We would indeed need deadlines, but if a problem of illness or severe computer problems comes up, that would be a valid reason to replace a deadline

I believe the grading process to be a necessary component of motivation to complete projects. Deadlines are a wonderful thing. I see your point. Deadlines are good, I think they are an important part of goal setting. The only caveat I see is good projects being abandoned if the deadline is not met. A grading system could be a great resource, as long as we emphasize that it's not meant to hurt feelings or be discouraging. If we can foster a culture that supports good ideas and encourages personal growth and more involvement in the tribe, I think some constructive critiquing could be very valuable.

I could see more projects falling on their face due to lack of deadline than because of one.

I could see more projects falling on their face due to lack of deadline than because of one. You have a good point. Setting a deadline does help a triad focus.
