Welcome to werewolf 8.0!!! Were going back to the classics, free of insanity and islands, but still 100 percent fun!
Rules!
1: People sign up.
2: I randomly assign a role to each person. Everyone will be either a werewolf or a villager and may have extra roles too. Remember, if you're a werewolf, don't let the villagers know!
3: The werewolves send me a PM and tell me who they want to kill.
4: The games begin! I post, saying who has been killed.
5: Everyone discusses who they think the werewolves are and vote someone off.
6: I post saying whether or not the person voted off was a wolf, and any special roles they had.
Repeat steps 3-6 until either the werewolves or the villagers win.
Roles:
Villagers: Just regular dudes (and/or dudettes)
Werewolves: The guys who eat the other dudes. They pretend to be villagers. They also know who the other werewolves in their pack are.
The Elder: A villager (not a werewolf). When there is a tie in the votes, if the elder has voted for one the tieing people, their vote counts for 2, so the tie is broken.
The Detective: A villager. Once per round they can send me a PM asking if someone is a werewolf, and I will answer yes or no.
The Doctor: A villager. Once per round this person can PM me with the name of someone they want to 'protect'. If the werewolves choose to kill that person next, they will not die. This doesn't include death by voting.
The Witchdoctor: Can be a villager OR a werewolf. If this person is ever killed, they can choose one person (villager or werewolf) to bring back to life, and back into the game (I'll PM them and tell them). The resurrected person will then be immune from being killed for one round (one wolf kill and one vote). Note that the witchdoctor doesn't HAVE to bring anyone back to life.
Apart from the werewolves it's entirely up to you whether or not you keep your role secret, or let people know. There may be tactical advanatges to either.
Note that non-werewolves may only communicate with eachother through the werewolf game thread.
This round, there will be TWO packs of wolves, with 2 wolves in each. The werewolves in one pack won't know who the werewolves in the other pack are. Every round 1 person is killed by each pack, so 2 people per round are killed by the wolves. However since they they don't know who each other are, the werewolves might kill a wolf from the other pack by mistake.
There will be no pm sharing. It's a game made to be fun. And why ruin it for everyone. Please don't be selfish and ruin it for others.
