"So compared to you I'm from the past? What date did you travel back in time originally?"
Ryan thought for a moment, about everything that was happening and going and then finally answered Tony's other question.
"In response to your other question, which I assumed you ask to solve the paradox of going into the past and stepping on a butterfly and drastically altering the future, no matter what description I give of my time, you will not have an accurate representation of how things have changed for you. For instance, if you did somehow change the timeline, and things are different, then things will have always been different for me, so what I call a 'car' might be different than what you call a 'car'. If I were to say, that the future seemed normal to me, it might be vastly different for you. Some basics, we have automobiles, major cities, major transportation systems, there are no aliens, the technology is subpar to my inventions, but is pretty average, nothing too fancy. So, not sure if that really answers your question, but it's really something that you'll only be able to answer when we're done with this journey and head back to your time. Unless, the guy sending us all over time can send me back to my time separately - I think I might have to travel through time with you guys from now on."

"interesting." Ryan pondered.
These people are from the future, but he met them in the past. The whole thing was perplexing, but like an amazing puzzle. All the solutions seem to be piling into his head - he was in thinking mode. Slowly but surely the pieces of the puzzle were fitting closer and closer together, the events that this group had seen at the Colosseum, the events at the globe theater, and now - just before the most important assassination in the history of mankind. The shadowy creatures, the time travelling clue giver, the reaction he had at and after the globe theater. All of these little clues were popping all over his head, trying to assemble the bigger picture like a jigsaw in his head.
It was obvious he was thinking hard - Tony continued to speak, but noticed that Ryan was ignoring him and in deep thought.
As the pieces of the puzzle came more clearly into view, Ryan realized that they were missing many pieces and that this group will have a lot of work ahead of them.
Ryan asks the group, "Does anyone here have a history book by chance? I need to know where Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated."

Charlie was sitting in the alley, her back against the wall, the cigarette in her hand again. "Everything happens for a reason, doesn't it?" She asked herself, before taking one more sip. She raised the gun and looked at it. It was heavy with all those bullets. "Everything does happen for a reason." She said and frowned. She got up and started walking. "There's a reason why I fell in love, there's a reason why I got hurt, there's a reason why I am still here. If I just give up... We're screwed!" She said and started running, heading back to the others. She was glad to see that all of them were still there. "Hey, did you get a clue or not yet?" She asked them, showing a little bit of sarcasm, just like she was used to.

Kevin, noticing Charlie had returned, smiled a little. He knew she'd come to her senses eventually. She wasn't a dumb girl.
"What are we supposed to do anyway?" He said, and walked around a little. All of them seemed to be in deep thought, walking around in circles, when finally Kevin sat down on a branch. He noticed the glasses next to him. "Hmm.."

Ryan combs over the enormous history book that Jim had handed him. 'how could that kid carry such a thing?' he thought to himself as he scoured over the hundreds of pages of indices looking for WWI information.
Upon finding the information he flips back what seemed like over a thousand pages to the section on WWI.
"Good thing you have this great history book Jim, I don't know how you carry it around though. This must weigh at least 60 pounds."

Charlie lit one more cigarette, unable to hold herself. "For your information, now we have to be extra careful. We're closer to our era, which means that the chances of making a fucked up change are heightened. From this point we don't assault people and we don't interrupt moments, unless they're important for our mission. Got it?" She said with clear voice, noting out a really important detail.

Ryan looks up from the history book and agrees. "Good idea Charlie, let's try to keep all contact with locals to a bare minimum. If we must, encounter in a negative fashion, run first, and if that's not an option, never use deadly force."
At this last bit, Ryan looks at Charlie. She seems to mean what she says, but of all the people in the group, she'd be the one to use deadly force, he can see it in her eyes.
Ryan returns to scouring over the pages of WWI history, learning everything this book has to offer. You never know when you'll need the information.

Charlie looked at Ryan. "At this point, I want to ensure our safety." She said and drew her gun. She removed all of the bullets and looked at the others, before handing a bullet to Kevin, Jim, Jackson, Tony and Ryan, keeping the golden bullet for herself. She placed it in her pocket and then put the gun back in her other pocket. "This is my way to show trust to all of you. We're in this together and if we try to betray each other, one thing is for sure, we'll die or we'll destroy the entire world. I am placing my cards on the table. Yes, I am sad and angry because of the death of Elizabeth and this means that I'll be a bit more brutal than usually if we get in a weird situation - and we'll surely get in a weird situation. I am trusting you to hold me back if I lose control and if things get too hectic... Make sure you disarm me and use the bullet I gave you, even if it won't be easy. That's all I had to say. Let's find the killer of Franz Ferdinand now." She said and looked at Ryan, wanting to see if he deserved that piece of trust, because she might have given a piece of death to everyone, but the truth was... She didn't trust anyone but herself.

wow.. uhh okay
first off what makes now more dangerous to be messing with time than rome. killing someone now might disrupt singular family lines but someone farther in time could result in the non existance of people of great importance for all we know you kill a roman guard and george washington never exists or we never discover electricity. someone in this era would only disrupt the political situations and possibly make a few of us never born.... i am just curious as to how you this makes sence in this case the farther back the bigger the wave then again this is all theoretical and the fact is we now know more about the effects of time travel than anyone else...
however we shouldnt mess with anything in any time frame so lets try to be safe about this.. also wouldn't stoping a murder that was meant to take place be a really bad idea. even if the events after the murder are horrible they are required to keep us from being non existant...

"Well, at this point, I will tell you my plan. I'll be your shadow from now on, I won't be interacting with any other people except from you. I'll be mostly behind the scenes, searching for clues. I am sure that people will understand that I am a girl and they'll also understand my sexuality. I am not planning to get in trouble with that." Charlie said and took one more sip from her cigarette.

"Interesting, it says here that the Archduke and his wife were killed en route to the palace after returning from the hospital where they visited many people who were injured in a previous assassination attempt. The first assassination attempt takes place just down the river - this way" Ryan points downstream.
"But the actual assassination, takes place right here, in 7 days. The driver of Franz Ferdinand's car makes a wrong turn and uses this alley way to turn around, and he gets shot, not two feet from where you're standing Charlie."
Ryan continues to pour over the book absorbing all the information he can.
After a few more minutes, he closes the massive volume of history text that had been weighting down his lap for what seemed like hours, and handed it back to Jim.
"So, what do you all want to do now? Any ideas on where we might find clues? Do we just wait a week? Do you guys want to try to stop the war? What should we do next?"
