In the wake of all the rejuvination projects - here's an idea: We have a wiki - but it is so woefully in need of updating.
So, since we're trying to rise from the metaphorical ashes - why not update the wiki so that it's more relavent?
There's a lot of ways to update it - update the POGOTOK page, update the Noble Cause, pages for members, kill the spam, et cetera.
If asked, I can come up with a number of basic things to be done to make it relevant - and we can expand from there. Problem is, I'm useless at wikis. I can organize what needs to be done, I can edit/proofreed/make notes for improvements - but I can't actually do any of it, due to inibility to understand webcoding.
EDIT: Moved to Rejuvination Projects - Remember: The Wiki is an important part of the moon too.
Everybody can help out - even without Admin privilidges on the Wiki, you can still flag spam, mark pages that need to be moved, condensed, or deleted.

I remember when the wiki was cooler than the forum
Also I forgot my password for it so if I was to make another account could I be wiki mod'd again?

Erin and I talked a lot about the wiki, we have a few ideas. Nevertheless, I'm pretty tired right now and I can't type out all of it in detail but...
Delete everything that's useless. Allow member to make profiles in the wiki. Document projects and who participated in them. Document triads? -This depends on what we decide on them Guidelines for new members Articles on past events and history of the tribe. Articles of ongoing events and projects they can participate in.
And a couple of other things I can't remember right now...

I have been clicking "random pages" for the past few minutes, and I've already deleted three spam pages. And now I'm starting to compile a list of things that need updating, or things that we should probably keep around. (Draemora and I discussed it at some point, too.) Current Projects (Desperately needs updating.) Completed/ Successful ProjectsUser pages SPOTM history (Documented, Triad pages, etc.) There's already a Triads page, but I think it'd be nice to expand on what a triad actually is, instead of focussing solely on Dan's triad experiment. What are some of the things that we should for-sure get rid of, other than the obvious spam pages?
Looking through the wiki, we should also probably have a main focus? I'm seeing a lot of articles that generally belong on Wikipedia, and not the SPOTM Wiki.

I'm not sure if we really need the Dan 3.0 stuff on the wiki. That not really about us so much as it's about Dan
and yeah - the meme pages could probably go
There's some things that make me wonder too - like, do we really need a page about Creative Commons? Or The Yeti (John Green's wife - not the creature)? Or EP reviews?

Hm... I propose that we have a SPOTM memes page, but avoid individual articles. It would save a bit of space, don't you think? (Also, there's generally not a lot to say on SPOTM memes. If someone wants to look up a general Internet meme, KnowYourMeme is so much better.)
Edit: I'm not sure about the Dan 3.0 stuff... If there are individual pages dedicated to tasks, delete away. But if there's one page dedicated to it, it's sort of a part of SPOTM history, just like some of the Dan 2.0 discussion videos.

I can agree on that much at the very least
Also - since I fail at understanding wiki - I don't think I actually have the ability to delete pages - but what I can do is go through pages and write "THIS PAGE SHOULD BE DELETED!" at the very top

A SPOTM meme page is acceptable. Also, We should try to coalesce all the Dan stuff into as few pages as possible.

@aust: I upgraded your wiki account, so you should now be able to delete pages and block users. For anyone who is an admin, and wants to know how to do this, it's under Toolbox > Special Pages > Users and rights > User rights management. From there, it's pretty straightforward. Also, here is a full list of all of the pages, apparently.

Delete the DOCUMENTED or the NESC page and you die Those are good examples of SPOTM history and events that should definitely be deleted updated and/or refurbished. They should be part of something like SPOTM Lore or whatever.

I would like to help with the wiki as well. I was there the other time and I wanted to delete so many useless pages, but didn't really have the power. I am sure that you can handle it on your own though, you don't need to give power to more people, but if you need help, you can contact me anytime.
EDIT: Now that I am looking at the list, I see double pages that I don't really like, like the one about David Logan. It's there twice and in both pages there are the same things written.
Also, DFTBA is there twice, even if clicking on the duplicates lead to the actual page about it, but do they really need to be around?
Doobly-doo. I've seen a page about it so many times. Wipe the dooblicates. (See what I did there?)
Also, I keep seeing many troll pages in there that seriously need to be deleted. I mean, I cannot tell which pages should stay there and which should get deleted. We should organize the Wiki in a way that new articles will be checked by the wiki admins first and then will get published. Also, we need to do something about the editing... But I still have to think about it.
