It's funny because your internet posts on Twitter, as well as your posts here on the moon have so many grammatical errors.

Also, Asher.. The Portal 2 "Postal 2" thing? It might be Valve's response to a very minor internet bang. POSTAL 2 is banned in Australia, because 1. it sucks, and 2. because it's really really disgusting (homophobia, animal cruelty..) A fan of Portal 2 went on to the wikipedia article for Games Banned in Australia and accidentally read Postal 2 as Portal 2. The fan posted it to some forum, about 2 people got upset, but still.. It's on the internet. Google got a minor increase in searches of "Portal 2 banned in Australia." Kk?

Also, POSTAL 2 is banned in Australia, because 1. it sucks, and you're a terrible person postal gotyay also, nice skidrow file lol. maybe they figured if you're the type of person who would pirate a game as great as portal 2 you aren’t even deserving of being addressed properly

It's based off of.. Killing, and it shows animal cruelty, homophobia, and just bad things, and frankly, was based off of killing. And believe me, a game based off of killing always sells well, but in never actually good (See Pretty Much Every COD Game) You know what it's kinda like? Duke Nukem Forever, except that's based off of sex. Also, nice copypaste of what Asher said. Portal 2 IS a great game, and it's something you should acknowledge more often.

"I understand that there are people who are less educated than I am, and I’ve long ago made peace with that sad fact." You went to college? Also, sure I can dig, but no one likes a nitpicker I stopped correcting people (within the grammatical region of my own language, of course), because I realized few people likes to have a know-it-all as a friend.

You assume that college is the only method by which one can become educated. I don't particularly care HOW a person is educated, a long as they ARE educated. As for the know-it-all-friends, my friends know that they have someone they can always come to for help with their writing. Oh by the way, "confines" would have been a better word than "region" for that sentence, but I suppose that's not within your "region" anyway.

I'd support the fact that Asher is educated. Perhaps not as educated as he could be, but a lot more educated than you give him credit Linus.
In any case, the article does showcase the fact that our language is mutating in a non-evolutionary way. Even just now, Linus, you have demonstrated that most of the potential nit-picky "know-it-alls" don't even have a basic understanding of what they are trying to say, so they use a word that sounds right when it clearly is not.
I'm not exactly sure though where the source of the problem is though. Is it within popular culture accepting such atrocities? or is it rather in our education system being inadequate to teach the masses that these misuses are atrocities?
