people. bigotry and racism are NOT one and the same. if i say that i hate all muslims and you call me a racist...then youre just ignorant. im not. im a bigot...not a racist. if i hate someone for being ARAB then im a racist and not a bigot. if i believe that all democrats are idiotic morons with IQs of 2 and a half maybe 3...im a bigot. if i believe that all black people should be either killed or sold into slavery...IM A RACIST NOT A BIGOT!!! you see where im going with this?

irrelevant posts are irrelevant...im pointing out a distinction between two commonly misused terms...whether or not i advocate or practice either is an entirely separate matter.

Also: Anti-(insert religion/beliefs, sexual preference, gender, race, education-type, political preference, birth-place, etc..) You described bigotry Oh - and another thing, I just looked up bigot, and a racist is a bigot (not vice versa, but it is true in the one direction).

Yep, he's just saying they're not interchangeable (completely at least. It's not the best idea to say shape when you mean square)

Yes - very true. And it's most definitely not alright to say square when you mean shape. Something leads me to assume that is really what triggered this rather pointless thread.
