My great-great grandfather was from Spain but my dad is almost 50% native american I think because my family loves them apparently. Except my mom is white (too many nationalities to count) so I will say European.

my mums side is irish going all the way back .. possibly with a bit of english and my dads american but i think his roots are scottish, or some other celtic thing. (my surname is Finley, which probably would have started as Fionn Lae, which means Fair Prince in some Gaelic language.. i guess)

There's no "mixed-race" option, and I'm pretty evenly divided. My mom's family descends from Germany originally and my dad's family descends from Africa originally, though both families have been in North America since before the US was established.

I'm 100% Icelandic, at least 8 generations. Probably a lot further back.
Edit: All my ancestors back to ca.1500 A.D. are Icelandic which is as far as the records go.

*cough* 5 months old thread *cough*
I've never known where to put Mexico. We usually say we're in north america, but you americans (i hate how you call yourselves americans. As if all the rest of the inhabitants of the continent weren't. That's why we call you gringos ;D) usually make the cut before, leaving us in central/south america.
I should be like 50% native mexican or whatever you want to call that and 50% spanish/*insert any other race here* because of all the weird mingling that happened centuries ago. But don't quote me on that. It's just a rough guesstimation taking into consideration that there haven't been any additions to the family from other countries that I know of.
We mexicans don't care a lot about where we came from. We're all mexicans and that's about everything that matters. (Actually, I think it has to do more with the fact that tracing back your bloodline would be very hard, if not impossible.)

I'm surprised no one has said "From where do you descend*" yet. It's really annoying me,
