I made the thread an announcement, just so everybody knows. I figure triad volunteering is important, so the threads for that can be announcements from now on. =P Plus, now that we have the sub-board, it's a little hard to find if you don't know your way around the forum.

It doesn't have to happen the way Dan did, he said so himself, but the way I see it, it worked out pretty well. Keep the volunteer form open for a week, as was suggested, and sort out 63 names into 21 triads. Then assign the triads randomly into three new triads per veteran triad like Dan said, and the second week can be used to get used to each other and introducing one another.

I'm not sure if everyone's capable of downloading Skype and the like, but there needs to be an active avenue of communication. Another requirement can be to have a couple hours free every day to commune and work on whatever project Dan sets up.

This excites me so much, but I'm not sure I have the complete dedication needed for this. Ah, well. I'll just stick to the sidelines for now...

I'm still a bit confused at what a triad is supposed to do. Are they subgroups within the tribe? And if so, is it possible to be in a triad without becoming a leader of one? I would love to be in one of the triads!

The point of the triads is that there is no leader. It's just 3 people that are all equals working together. Before volunteering, it would be a good idea to start here vimeo.com/10053483 and watch all of the pogotoks about triads.
