On March 16, I accepted a challenge on my parkour forum that I also frequent.
We have a game called Up, Left, Down, similar to the game that can be found in Forum Games ^<V. It's different in the sense that it's a conditioning game, so it goes like this.
The person above me posted a challenge, I have to do that challenge, I then have to make up a challenge of my own and do it, then I have to challenge the next person to do my challenge.
Anyways - this isn't a physical fitness forum, so I'm not proposing that we play this game - however the challenge I accepted on March 16th was to do 10 push ups for every post I ever make on a forum ever again. I think this is actually a really good idea for a lot of people here on the moon and here's my reasons.
1) For every minute you spend playing a forum game by posting - you get an equal (if not more amount) of exercise from those posts.
2) instead of double posting - you edit your posts.
3) you clearly think out everything you want to say - and who you want to address and how you wish to address them, so you don't have to do twice or 3 times as many push ups. You also fully explain yourself so you don't have to make a post later to explain a vague idea present in your first post.
So I invite you all to join in my challenge. Please note - this is not in the Forum Games - because the reasoning behind the challenge is not a game. Everyone can abide by the above reasons and I'm sure that overall it will make the forums a healthier environment both physically, and intellectually as we think things out more clearly before we post.
If you choose to join - you can keep track of your push ups here in this thread.
PUSH UP COUNT: 1190
PULL UP COUNT: 25
