IN my opinion, i believe this rule should still be in effect because some people live in communities with lots of gangs and gang violence. There fore some hats might have those gang colors and those people wearing those hats might be subjected to a fight or something like that.

the hat i would be wearing would be a fedora, and not that much ofmy face would be covered Cool hat!

Hats off during church, and at the dinner table has always been the rule in my parents' house, and I plan on making it the same in mine. Other than that, there should be no reason why hats should be prohibited in a non-uniform school.
That's one thing that always annoyed me about high school and middle school. You're allowed to wear practically everything/anything else you wanted to (Within reason, of course. No giant chicken outfits, lingerie, etc.) but hats were prohibited, and got you a suspension from some teachers. Makes no sense, imo.
