Without going into much detail
Velociraptors are much more aggressive, strong, fast and skilled than Persians, at some point I thing the raptors would just overwhelm the Spartans

Did the Spartans get futuristic weapons when the people from the future took them from their time frame and put them on the Late Cretaceous Mongolia Era? just imagine, Spartans with lightsabers! If so, I'm thinking Spartans ;D

velociraptors only attack if they can surround their prey - so they would win. The spartan's defense only worked because they were not surrounded, and in fact the spartans fell upon being surrounded.

Velociraptors. Even though the spartans trained themselves thoroughly, the natural muscle density and teeth and claw sharpness of velociraptors, as well as skin thickness (e.g. scales are thicker than flesh) velociraptors would win. Especially against merely 300 spartans. Thermopylae was extremely lucky and only worked due to bottle necking, and they still eventually lost. Upgrading the enemies to velociraptors would tire out the Spartans too fast because of the raptor's running velocities as a result of their leg design, aerodynamics, and muscle density. Not to mention, spears would just piss them off.

Ok, I have a scenario. What if there’s an island about the size of LA county (4,752 sq. miles), and on this island is 300 Spartans and 300,000 velociraptors. Now, the Spartans, being human, are smart enough to all work together to get rid of the velociraptors. The velociraptors, not so much. The velociraptors would probably live in groups of 100 or so. So. Let’s say in the time period of a year. The Spartans would be able to kill all the velociraptors. I don't know, that's just a scenario I thought up. Seems logical.

Seems logical. being 100% honest the Spartans have no chance in this scenario. Velociraptors hunt for food and would probably not kill each other. Because of their physical capabilities only one could most likely be able to kill 10 Spartans. You have to give the Spartans an advantage if you want them to win

But could the Spartans even be able take on 100 velociraptors? Considering their equipment this could prove quite difficult, at least without significant casualties; and then good luck with the rest of the 300000.

Zang, Imagine if you will that you and 9 friends are surrounded by 100 2.5 ft tall 6 ft long bird looking reptiles whose skin is resistant to puncturing, who are roughly 50 times faster than you, and are used to taking down large dinosaurs. Now imagine that you and your 9 friends are spartans. This means you do not fear death, you fight till death, and you are trained to fight. Like you, your enemy does not fear death. They hunt to survive they wish to kill you and your 9 friends so that they can eat.
so lets look at the differences shall we?
Height: +3-4ft for spartans Speed: + 5000% for velociraptors Intelligence - strategy and planning: +1 for humans their brains are big Incentive: survival + 0 both sides #: +90 velociraptor
It seems that the spartans are at a loss here.

Alright I'll give you the size zang, but still. Its a hundred of them... Imagine if chickens had sharp teeth and were carnivorous. A hundred of them could take 10 of you, even if you have rudimentary weapons such as swords and shields. Fear the enemy!:

Threads like this is what i like about this community. Honestly i think that spartans would be maybe defeated only by 30 000 of Velociraptors...

I think it would be the most one sided battle of all time in favor of velociraptors. They have huge freaking claws and teeth. And stealth. And they can turn doorknobs. Spartans didn't even HAVE doorknobs. HAS HOLLYWOOD TAUGHT US NOTHING?!?

1 velociraptor > 300,000 spartans.
There is no way to survive a raptor attack. The sooner you come to terms with that the sooner you'll be able to move on and start making preparations for the afterlife.
