I vote no, only because it is needed for the economy. And well, this is easier to sell on the commercial market than marijuanna, per se, because it is easier to control the growth of tobacco.

I vote no, only because it is needed for the economy. And well, this is easier to sell on the commercial market than marijuanna, per se, because it is easier to control the growth of tobacco. America was the leading tobacco exporter until 1993, the tobacco industry became a necessary evil becuase it was one of the few industries the united states was truly able to flourish in (other then you know..military tech...) However our exportation of tobacco has been largely decreased and our importation has actually increased (probably becuase cig companies could save a buck by importing cheaper, foreign tobacco) However there is still money to be made off our tobacco becuase american grown tobacco is of higher quality, and for those who are willing to pay the extra for "America style cigarettes" it can be a special treat to the more generic tobacco that is used in cigs to keep prices competitive. I believe we still do export to some Asian countries and are able to make some money this way. www.nationalaglawcenter.org/assets/crs/RL30947.pdf
