I would love to be on the darkside. I would however be on the light side - It is beyond my comprehension to feel hate, I fear very little, I am rarely distraught, I am currently not in love (lust maybe - infatuation definitely - but not love), and it takes so much to get me angry, that the people trying to make me angry are typically angrier. However, I cannot harness my potential on the light side so....someone convert me plz

I say light side, but that's only because you didn't specify that we had to become Jedi, which means to me I don't have to follow any of the rules that the Jedi Council and all that enforce.

Definitely light side. First of all, it's a lot nicer over there. And second, even if I did want to join the dark side, I would fail at it miserably.

I think i would be on the light side because they seem to be more calm and stuff. I like that way more than full-of-hatred-emo-halfzombies...

Why would you need to be either? The world isn't black & white; why should The Force be that way?

Wait, are we talking Star Wars here? If we are, I will give my long reply now.
It's not a matter of choosing light or dark. You don't just go "Hey, I can use the force, and here's this random lightsaber. Which side do I choose?" No. Most likely, at a young age, a Jedi or a Sith Lord will discover you possess Midi-chlorian, and will most likely be trained in the Jedi Temple, or with a Sith Lord. Without a doubt, the Sith are much more powerful. (We're talking episodes 1-6, none of all the other 50 books and that crap.) Let's look at the Jedi vs Sith battles.
Episode I: Darth Maul kills Qui Gon. Obi Wan, enraged at Qui Gon's death, is then able to defeat Maul. This is the first rule of Jedi vs Sith. A Jedi can win if he is enraged, which is not the normal Jedi way.
Episode II: Count Dooku kicks Obi Wan and Anakin's asses. Yoda and Dooku are pretty much tied, but Dooku retreats. This is the second rule of Jedi vs Sith. A Jedi can win if a Sith retreats.
Episode III: Dooku once again beats Obi Wan, but Anakin comes in to finish the job. But at this point, the chancellor has corrupted Anakin. The dark side is slowly taking over Anakin and this gives him the strength to beat Dooku. Rule 3: A Jedi can win if he is being taken over by the dark side.
Another battle occures with Anakin vs Obi Wan. Obi Wan technically wins, but Anakin is still technically a Jedi. Rule 4: A Jedi can only win if he is fighting another Jedi
Episode IV: Darth Vader beats Obi Wan, although, Obi Wan most likely gave up. Not much else having to do with Jedi vs Sith, as this was the first movie made.
Episode V: Vader fights Luke. Luke has to retreat after losing his hand and is later rescued by Lando and Leah.
Episode VI: Luke wins, only because Vader kills Palpatine and Vader surrenders, which brings us back to rule 2 (kinda).
That's about it for "who's stronger". But, there have been many Jedi influnced by the dark side, and have been taken in, almost against their will. So, this isn't something you can pick, but more of "destiny".
That's it... bye!
