Hi this is a project whose idea was spawned here.

The idea is that every week or two weeks (depending on the level of interest) someone (or a small team working together) will take it upon themselves to learn about an issue and then at the end of the week post the results on this thread in a short question and answers format designed for people with short attention spans and no previous knowledge of the issue. Links to more information and sources are to be included. Youtube videos can be created and you can use any other method of expressing yourself you can think of.

It would be nice if every time we could alternate between positive things and negative things.

Taking part by researching and submitting a post
Taking part by discussing the issues
Taking part by thinking of more ways to help with the issues

Working on the next one: "What the flip is going on with freedom of the press" working title.. maybe "free media" or something.
There's a hell of a lot of research to be done in this so if anyone wants to help then by all means volunteer!

Would still be delighted if anyone wanted to write on any other topic of their choice.

I'd be glad to do a politics section, as I'm already in the middle of filming a politics video O.o


Edit: I'm actually trying to decide whether to do a political or a societal video, so I'll post later on which topic I'll choose.
