Please, no. Ewes are too Dan Brown. ...wat? How can anything on a forum created by Dan Brown be "too Dan Brown"? I voted for Philosoraptor's banner. There's nothing I dislike about it. However, the "ewe" would be a very nice touch to it. It would allow the banner to completely represent who we are as a tribe. We tend to be quite serious most of the time, but we won't hestitate to break the srs boundary. After all, take a look at value #2. so the representative form of the forum is a scapegoat? el oh el

I wasn't trying to insult you or your banner, I was just saying the style is kiddish. I like the banner, I just don't like it as our forum banner. That's just a personal opinion - I'm not the voice of the entire moon. :/ I don't see how no guidelines = cutsie sheep. It can result in a cute banner, but that wasn't our intention. We wanted to allow for as much freedom as possible. I don't see how that's third grade...but yeah, whatever. I'll take it. Please don't get defensive over nothing, I was just making a point. I wasn't trying to defend my banner. I'm just letting you know how I felt about the management of the competition. The same way you have an opinion about every banner, the people who submitted the banners have an opinion about the competition. No guidelines = no idea what you want. Guidelines don't restrict, they guide; hence the wording. ps. If I wanted to defend my banner, I would've done so in the 7 page topic in the general discussion section.

In my opinion, the "ewe" joke is getting kind of flat anyway.

Maybe you should read the rest of the post... In my opinion, the "ewe" joke is getting kind of flat anyway. Didn't stop "SHIRT" from staying. Or did it? --> SHIRT <-- Edit: It didn't.

I don't really like the the idea of changing "universe" to "eweniverse." It would a bit confusing to new visitors not familiar with the you = ewe joke.

What I mean is, just because Dan invented it, its not like he owns it, and we're not allowed the use it. Besides, who else uses it?

You can retract votes on polls, but that has to be set beforehand. No one (not even admins) can edit polls. Well if we were using Invision Power Boards....

Ok, when the banner wins, then we can argue over the ewe/u thing. It hasn't even won yet >.<
