This thread is for the people who have seen up the the season 1 finale of Flashfoward. All 3 of you can continue reading.
WASN'T THAT EPIC?!? Oh my god, I was literally out of my seat watching that. Yelling at my TV even. So great. What's better is that they set up another season! 5 years in the future this time! What do you all think? Do you think Mark died? What's gonna happen when they all wake up? CHARLIE IS OLD!
Unfortunately though, Flashfoward hasn't been doing so well in the ratings. They say if they don't pick up more viewers, they're canceling it. I may write an angry letter (probably "Q") to ABC. Anyways, discuss.

I've never seen it, but perhaps I may watch nao. Q is a very angry letter. I like watching less mainstream TV shows. I makes me feel like an insider.

I'm one of those rare viewers you described and I also thought the finale was awesome. There were some conflicting dates in the montage, though. I saw 2015 & 2011. I'm a bit baffled by it but I hope we somehow get more show sometime.

It was okay. The show was great, the finale was ... well, predictable. And not the parts we already knew about. The only intriguing thing about the entire episode was the doctor being awake and taking Janis' wheelchair. And yes, Mark lived. That's incredibly obvious. Nothing in anyone's flashfowards indicated that he would die except Charlie's... and hers was taken out of context and/or Vogel changed his degree of positively about Mark's death. They wouldn't have added that line to his dialog if they weren't going to have Mark live. Anyway, I've heard for sure it was canceled. Unfortunate, but I'll get over it.

No, I looked it up. They said they're going to cancel it if the ratings keep going down. And we don't know if Mark lived, the building blew up. And no SHIRT it was predictable, they all had flashfowards! (Well, Simon and the asian dude didn't). And up to the 2nd to last episode, no one was where they were supposed to be :/

Yeah I heard it was cancelled to, I thought it was a GREAT ending, I mean, they couldnt have done it much better, yeah sure, many things were predictable, but still, I think in the end it really worked out better then most endings of shows. I mean, anyone can decide what happened, and in my opinion that is allways the best endings. Eventhough as breepop pointed out, its pretty obvious that Mark lived. but other than that I think it was grand. Tbh I wasnt gonna watch past ep 15 or something like that, because I didnt think the series was that good anymore, but the last two episodes totally changed my opinion, to the degree where I actually dont hope for an other season, I think it would ruin it, much like the last episodes of Doll House did

I knooooowwww!! It was so epic! I made Dan watch the finale with me even thought he's never seen an episode.
SO MANY QUESTIONS I NEED ANSWERED!!! I'm so upset they're ending it here. DDD:
I also noticed the 2011 and 2015 dates, but perhaps people saw a lot of different dates like when the savants were forced to flash forward. They all went to different times.
I don't think Charlie would be that old even in 2015, definitely not in 2011. So that could be more evidence that everyone saw different dates. She, AT LEAST, looked 16 or older. The actress that plays her is nine and I think Charlie is supposed to be younger than nine. She would only be 14, at the oldest, in 2015. She totally didn't look 14.

I know... it's so crippling that the fools at ABC would cancel this show. But they kept V! Even though I watched V, I would still prefer that they cancelled that and kept Flashforward. I guess I'll just have to read the book the show is based on.
If anyone feels like starting an official petition for some cable network (SyFy, perhaps?) to pick up season 2 of this lovely show, let me know. I will sign and try to spread the word.

Finally the last episode aired in Portugal... eech, series are shown too late in here (Lost is ended this week I think, anyway, I don't watch it ). Anyway, LOVED IT (even tough I went almost crazy with the unsolved mysteries). I just hope it isn't canceled.
