Order of the Phoenix was my least favorite Harry Potter movie, but I think it was partly because the third movie left out important details like the identities of Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. This made it harder to include references to this fact in later movies, which made things more confusing to people who hadn't read the books. Anyway, I can't wait for Deathly Hallows! I hope they make up for the lack of a big action scene in these next two parts. EDIT: Oops. This is his sister's post. I really need to check before I post. Why wouldn't anyone read the books? Clearly those people are not true nerds! The movies aren't half as good without having read the books!

It looks really good, but I was pissed when I saw in the trailer that the movie bought into the 3D gimmick. :l
It really needs to stop XD
But I don't care that much.

This will be epic beyond measuring. However, what do you guys think of the final trailer scene (Harry and Voldemort in the courtyard)? Have they changed the location of the final show-down, or is this just part of a larger battle that'll still end up in the Great Hall? Just thought I'd see what you thought. P.S. Anybody else have the one-sheet as their desktop?

I am SO glad they divided it into two films. I felt that HBP was highly disappointing, mostly for having left SO much out, and failing to elicit the emotions that the book did.

I agree with what's been said before, that too much was left out during OotP and HBP, but I guess that they realized this and therefore divided the last movie into two parts. I hope they won't dissapoint.
I really cant wait...

It's so crazy to think that it's finally going to come to an end. I've read the books countless times and it's absolutely abysmal how good the endings to it all was. J.K. Rowling is a really great author.
I've always loved how the books kind of grow up with the kids. For example, they get a little bit more difficult to read (by an educational standpoint) as the kids get older and wiser.
Seventh movie looks awesome. My favorite scene in the book was the Gringott's scene, so I'm interested to see what will happen in the movie!

I think you guys might enjoy a snippet from my old journal, written on December 7th of 2002: "Mom, Dad, and I might see Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets tomorrow. I wonder if Harry Potter will be popular and famous when I'm an adult. I guess I'll have to wait and see." That being said, I'm very much looking forward to the final movie. I think I may have to get my Hufflepuff pride on for the midnight showings which I'll (most likely) be going to. Hahaha I don't know why, that made me smile so hard. ;D

I am NOOOOT going to be seeing it in 3D. I think the only movie I saw that the 3D actually worked was How to Train Your Dragon.

^^Avatar worked (the James Cameron film, not M Night Shyamalamadingdong's shitfest TLA). But then again, Avatar's story was only mediocre.

It would be weird to be one of the main actors, then all of the sudden, its all over. The biggest role of their life, and they grew up in it. It would be weird, they were probably almost family.
