Did anymone else listen to the Mugglecast live feed? I almost cried for the whole show )': I cannot believe the Movies are finally coming to an end. I did cry when they announced the wrap on filming. Truly, I do love Harry Potter. He's been with me for so long, I think a lot of us owe a lot to JKR. I sound insane, I know

I remember that I absolutely hated the direction that Order of the Phoenix went in, going for a cheesy comedic aspect where the tragic portions of the novel were quickly overlooked. I pinned it on David Yates, but obviously he wasn't the issue. It was probably the screenwriter. I love what Yates did with the Half Blood Prince and from what I've seen of Deathly Hallows, he's the perfect choice to tie up the franchise. There's something about this new one that makes it look and feel a lot like the first two, except cranking up the epic scale.

I wish that he died in the last book. Like, actually died and didn't go into that weird King's Cross thing. It would be awesome if both Voldy and Harry died. It's weird, but I like it when the main characters die.

Epicality. Yes, I just made up that word, and yes, I'll stick with it. I can't wait for it to come out, I really want to be able to do a full Harry Potter-marathon.

I can't wait to watch it. Both parts, I mean. I used to watch every part in cinema, but several problems made me stop after the 4th one. So now, I bought all the DVDs.
I have to watch this one though. In cinema.

I have to watch this one though. In cinema. I've seen every single one of them in theaters during opening weekend with the exception of the first one. I saw Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban and Half Blood Prince twice in theaters. Goblet of Fire is okayish, and Order of the Phoenix isn't even worth my time.

8 movies is too much lost interest after the 4th IMO the fourth was the worst. Like, horribly bad. They left TOO much out, and changed too many things. And also made the villain too obvious

I think you guys might enjoy a snippet from my old journal, written on December 7th of 2002:
"Mom, Dad, and I might see Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets tomorrow. I wonder if Harry Potter will be popular and famous when I'm an adult. I guess I'll have to wait and see."
That being said, I'm very much looking forward to the final movie. I think I may have to get my Hufflepuff pride on for the midnight showings which I'll (most likely) be going to.

It has probably some of the least changes in the series when compared to Order of the Phoenix or Half Blood Prince (even though HBP is incredible)

I'm crazy excited for this movie to come out. I've been reading the books since the 2nd grade. I've seen every movie in theaters except for the first one. I'm seeing part one for my birthday and part two is going to be a graduation present. =]

I love what Yates did with the Half Blood Prince and from what I've seen of Deathly Hallows, he's the perfect choice to tie up the franchise. I HATED the half blood prince movie. I thought the pacing was incredibly horrible. The movie felt so slow, and the action parts of the movie were not exciting at all. I remember how the first 4 movies had intense action sequences, then the 5th movie started to feel a bit slower, and then it came to the half blood prince, which is by far the worst of the series in my opinion. I also hate how they cut out the epic fight scene at the end of the book, which had much more than just a few death eaters and dumbledor. (I might be mistaken for the deathly hollows ending, im not sure though, I really think the half blood prince had a bigger ending) Hopefully the deathly hollows movie is as exciting as the book was.

Order of the Phoenix was my least favorite Harry Potter movie, but I think it was partly because the third movie left out important details like the identities of Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. This made it harder to include references to this fact in later movies, which made things more confusing to people who hadn't read the books. Anyway, I can't wait for Deathly Hallows! I hope they make up for the lack of a big action scene in these next two parts.
EDIT: Oops. This is his sister's post. I really need to check before I post.
