Okay so guys. I know I've felt frustration when youtubers go on trips to Britain and they forget about us guys in Ireland. I recently watched Dan being interviewed after his speech on Vidcon and he said "hopefully a lot of traveling the world". So I propose he come here to Ireland and see how our culture is different from our European neighbors. Yes we speak English, but we were a nation controlled for hundreds of years by our next door neighbors and have been split apart by the partition of the north. This has given us a passionate spirit for our country. Dan, should come to Cork and Dublin and see how our two largest cities only about 250 miles away, are nearly completely different and how the partition in the north is the perfect example of how sectarianism can split our tribe if people discriminate against each other in our tribe.

I second that. I'm Irish but I've never really seen Irish culture. It would be awesome for him to vlog from there.

I'm 3rd or 4th generation Irish, irish-american that is, and I hope to visit it myself someday. Is Dan planning on traveling the WORLD? I didn't think about that. won't he need translators, or contacts in the countries he goes to? well, If it gets to the top I'm sure he'll figure something out. We should form a voting block for this idea, like Dan suggested will be necessary to get big ideas to the top.

huhm. Cork is different from Dublin? I didn't notice. if you want him to experience real Irish culture send him to some little town in the backarse of nowhere. or somewhere like Bear Haven or something. If you live in either city you know there isn't much Irish culture in them. But I'm still for him visiting us. we always get left out =(

I'll help. I'm 90% Irish. The rest is German and a bit of French. Anyway, I think that's a great idea! My dad and step-mother just got back from a trip to Ireland. They got me a replica of an authentic map of the country circa 1770. It's really neat.
