so many have talked about masturbation. Now sure solo play its cool and all but what if you and a friend compromised to stimulate ( not necessarily through intercourse ) and keep cool as friends non relationshipy
i know many guys would be like "hell yah!"
but could a girl actually handle it? I mean my thought is if you masturbating all ready then wouldnt it be better if you had someone do it for you?
i think yes.
do you?

I think girls are more emotional than boys, and connect emotions to actions even if you said you wouldn't. I don't think I could, it'd just be awkward and not work anyway, and then get pretty weird around that person.. Maybe if it was a girl. But there's no way I could do that with a boy I don't love. o.O

I have had sex buddies in the past, during the times we have stayed as friends during and after. It hasn't hindered our friendship relationship at all.
However ever I have heard stories from other peopel of where it did.

Sex buddies...
Good. I have had a few in college. They usually end up going well for me... I think the best part is, you're not expected to put up a front, and constantly go on dates, or go out of your way. You're just friends, so you can be more real!
Oh, but if you are going to do it, BE SAFE and USE A CONDOM

Oh, but if you are going to do it, BE SAFE and USE A CONDOM Quoted for truth! I don't have a problem with it I suppose. But since guys are typically more horny than girls, it seems like the guy would be seeking "sex-only" relationship whilst the girl would have trouble keeping those sort of feelings.

I mean my thought is if you masturbating all ready then wouldnt it be better if you had someone do it for you? I find this attitude revolting. Do you see a partner as someone to "masturbate for you"? People use the word "partner" for a reason. Even if the relationship is purely sexual, there still needs to be mutual respect. Both individuals have needs that they are seeking to fulfill, and in turn, fulfill the needs of their partner. This attitude is very much on par with men that refer to women as (forgive the crass language) "wet holes to jerk off in." If you want something else to "masturbate for you," buy a toy.

Sex should be between a man and a woman and should only be done after marriage.

Sex should be between a man and a woman and should only be done after marriage. You have extremely strong opinions. I suppose you wouldn't be open to being persuaded otherwise, would you?

I completely disagree with the idea of sex buddies. People who have them probably view sex as a purely physical, horny thing and I disagree with that. It's a sign of affection, not getting somebody to help you orgasm then forgetting about them.

Now, I don't think it should be a strictly after marriage thing, just with someone you really care about. People who date just to have sex disgust me. I really don't understand it.

P.S. what a bad Catholic I am.....

You assume there can be nothing in between. Two individuals who, while not interested in pursuing a long-term romantic relationship with one another, may be attracted to one another and wish to pursue this. They are also friends, and have deep respect for one another as well, in addition to the love they feel for each other as friends. In these relationships, there is still immense love and respect - just not romantic love.
That's an awfully judgmental position. Love is what eventually comes from sex, not the other way around. The chemicals/pheromones released after sex are what promote emotional bonding, the building blocks for love. Very few adult relationships start with love, then move on to sex. Sexual attraction is almost always the instigating factor in a relationship.
Secondly, there is nothing wrong with indulging in your sexual needs, as long as both parties are consenting adults, and are completely honest with each other from the beginning. Sex is a natural, beautiful thing, even on its own, and shouldn't be viewed as a simple side-effect of something else.

And thats why I do think that it should be after marriage only, because its a beautiful thing(btw if you dont believe that, then Im not gonna impose, I just personally do) I guess some catholic schooling has rubbed off on me, but I believe its something the church got right.

You have extremely strong opinions. I suppose you wouldn't be open to being persuaded otherwise, would you? Go ahead. I'm willing to listen to what you have to say. Well, first off, what we're talking about here is not necessarily intercourse, it's more of someone performing certain sexual acts upon you, and you would do the same. You would do something like that, and also keep a friendly relationship with that person. Now I agree, sex before marriage is sort of morally questionable, but it's also not the worst thing in the world. It's not like your killing a person, but again, we're not talking intercourse.
